My theory, and it’s jmo:


That house is a regular gong show. There’s always people coming and going. It’s one of those places where friends can come over whenever they want, you make yourself at home, stay over if you’d like. And it’s always a party. Maybe mom lets them drink or smoke in their rooms. And mom has people over too. Maybe some of these characters were shady and stole, which is why there are cameras “everywhere”.

That night, the teens were hanging out at the house. DB was over. He’s an acquaintance, no? Sometimes you hang out with your siblings friends. He noticed a child in the house. It’s not “like totally random” for a pedophile to have bad thoughts when they’re around children. People came and went. Maybe someone locked the door, but someone unlocked it at some point. It’s possible DB came back to steal something, like a TV, something noticeable. Then he thought “hey this is easy!”, was high on adrenaline and then went back for Cash.

The blood and pocket knife are irrelevant. Red herrings. There could be drops of blood on tissues from a nosebleed, a paper cut, even popping a zit.

But then, I dunno.


That morning someone was AWAKE and somehow knew someone was in the house.

I’m sorry but if I knew someone was in my house and I had kids, I’d check on them INSTANTLY. That’s the first thing you’d do. A teenager isn’t going to call 911 and say “someone was in my house a few hours ago”. It had to have been MS1.

If you’re on the phone with 911 reporting a burglary, I assume they’re going to ask you if everyone is safe in the house, right?

How can you NOT NOTICE.

That’s INSANE.

Now, even more telling is when the 18 year old returns after daybreak. He is talking to someone - someone is there - someone who knows there is only one boy in the bed. (it's a toddler bed not a crib by the way). He at first says " he is sound asleep " then other things which I haven't interpreted yet. So there you have it. More than one person involved. This explains why nobody did anything to stop it.

Add that to the fact that dad's ex-girlfriend knew these boys had a mother; and mother says boys were missing since March. It adds up. Look at the video. You have to in order to understand. I will watch again and analyze to see what else he might have said. To me he is clearly talking to someone else.

Also, most painful part is when the twin comes back into the room and looks at the empty toddler bed. It's as if his heart knows, but his little 4 year old mind cannot comprehend, nor speak what his heart knows.

I actually hear another voice responding to the suspect when he comes back after daybreak, after he says that Carter is "still sound asleep" he also says "crib" and something else. At one point you hear another voice, with a higher pitch, sort of respond with a sound not so much a word that I can make out. But like some sort of response sound.

That video is hard to watch. He stood there for what felt like forever. Definitely seemed he was listening to someone but whether real or imagined I'm not sure. And then to come back at 7?! After daylight?!? I don't even know what to think!

I will have to replay it and pay more attention to the sounds. DB may have been listening to music he alone believed was "giving him instructions". Right now the DM and video are overloaded.

It certainly did, and the way he just bent over with both hands out, just hunched over the bed like that for several seconds... that was especially unsettling.
That's LITERALLY what he "boogieman" would do, in children's imaginations.

My feeling is that it was planned and perpetrated for some reason, more than one person was involved in this, and that DB was used (but not innocent here). Maybe they are all in some sort of cult or gang and this was an initiation for DB.

i agree. <modsnip> i just rewatched on my laptop with my earbuds and it sounded like he was mumbling to himself. in the darker video, it looked more like he was scratching his head than on the phone.

Video is perplexing. I’m not sure 2nd person is the same guy- different shirt, pants, shoes- plus headwear & beard? 1st guy appears to glance to camera several times- like he knew it was there. I interpreted the delay like he was waiting for Cash’s brother to settle back into sleep before taking Cash. No clue yet how this all went down.
