Christian Diane Cortell Lewis was last seen Saturday near her home in the 7900 block of South Sam Houston Parkway. Police believe Christian may be driving a white 2013 Chevy Malibu, but she is not listed as a runaway.

How is a minor missing for 6 days not listed as a runaway?
And she's driving a car? The family vehicle? Someone else's?

Wish we had more details as this is a bit of a head-scratcher.....

If she is not a runaway, then they are only interested in the car? This is quite interesting to say the least!

Are Police expected/obligated to file a missing persons report themselves in a case like this if family/friends or whomever owns that vehicle wished to file a stolen vehicle report but did not want to file a missing persons report?

It says she's not listed as a runaway.... (Are missing persons reports different than runaway reports?) Is she possibly listed as a missing person but "not listed as a runaway" as the article stated?

Is this not a "domestic" type of situation,meaning she didn't take the family vehicle for a joy ride but rather broke into and stole an unknown person's car? Is she simply considered a "car thief" vs a runaway?

HPD said that around 9:15 a.m., the couple notified them about the apparent human skull and other bones in the 4100 block of Almeda Genoa.
