Hello all! Trying to follow the updates in this case while I'm working. I just found out this trial had started - I am a DFW local. I occasionally have cases in Collin County, and I've tried a case before Judge Rusch as well. He's very pro-prosecution and a good judge.

Hiya Minor! It'll be great to have your insights during this trial.

Nickerson thinks #ChristinaMorris phone died while or rightafter walking w/Arochi to car bc txt message sent green out of range #ArochiTrial

I know that my phone always loses cell service when I get into a parking garage. Doesn't explain why she wouldn't have called S.N. once she left the garage though....unless, of course, she was already incapacitated? IMO

My memory may be failing but I thought we were told in the early days that Christina isn't much of a drinker, wasn't there some mention of medication? Sorry if I'm way off base but I'd thought she was OK to drive and it hadn't seemed unusual to me that she would be planning to undertake a middle of the night drive home.

JMO

No disagreement with you on any of this. I'm pretty sure we did hear and assume all of that. But I think we heard from her mom that she wasn't much of a drinker (my mother probably didn't think I was either when I was younger. ;-) ) and I don't think we ever got a clear picture from SN before now. So I'm not sure what the answer is. He was there, but it was 2 years ago and he was admittedly intoxicated himself.

not a popular term here but it means drunk...like "wasted"

the other section w the interview was her saying he THREW his girlfriend and then claimed she THREW herself

Thanks, I'm not sure I understand how someone can throw themselves but maybe there was more to the sentence than was reported

That's very good news, I haven't been feeling very positive about the chances for the prosecution

Locals (including myself) have tested that parking garage multiple times for cell signal. It's above ground and very open. I've never had anything but extremely clear service in that particular garage. Other garages, not so much.

Epperson: Foster had allowed PPD to search and photograph his car. Foster was initially a person of interest, later dismissed #arochitrial

Thank you, TCMom. Appreciate the local insight...that info is very helpful. Her battery must have died then....which is why she didn't contact S.N. when she said she would. IMO

Before I go for a bit, I noticed during this testimony of SN that it has been clear that EA was leaving and Christina decided to leave to walk with him- so there's that. I guess he didn't jump at the chance to walk out with her....

I get the feeling that Christina was wanting to leave. She was upset. I think she was wanting someone to walk with her (or take her home?) and then EA stated he was leaving and she jumped on having someone to walk out with her. I got the impression that AE decided to leave after hearing her want to leave and wanting someone to walk with her.

Epperson says Morris' boyfriend allowed @PlanoPoliceDept to photograph his car. He was cleared early on as person of interest.

Drug dealers are gone...or, at least, not going to be called to the stand.
