IMO that's very telling, I wonder if they no longer believe in his innocence, I can't imagine why a parent wouln't support a child they were sure was innocent

I eagerly await the defense explanation of why the evidence points to Arochi, whom she left with that night, but how it is Hunter drove all that way to miraculously find Christina and then kill and dispose of her, evading any evidence to support them being together. If Arochi has some story, like he drove her to meet up with him, wouldn't that have come out before now?

I share your skepticism in regards to such defense claims, and the massive holes in those ideas, but when all the evidence points at EA and the defense needs to blame someone else, a crappy alternative - with a hope that the jury falls for it - is better than none at all.
