What in the world??? If he was so creepy why would she initiate a text to him to hang out the next day?? That is just weird to me. And up thread was the testimony that they all hung out almost every weekend. All this time I thought he was someone who kindof busted in on their party like an outsider. I didn't realize that those people all hung out regularly.

He may of had what people wanted at a party or get together so they invited him.

Birds of a feather will flock together. Lots of drugs and alcohol in this group of people. Never good. None of them look good.

Craziest thing to me has always been that such good/long time friends, could just not communicate with Morris for several days. Family included. It's like no one was in regular communication with her outside of work and weekends.

Cell phones make even just small, brief contacts much more possible than back in the 20th century as well. There's not even a hint of the family, drug dealing boyfriend, or partying "friends" noticing she was gone until days later.

Sad. Truly sad.

Reasonable doubt. So far, plenty of it. IMO.

And if the DNA isn't blood as the defense said in the opening, I'm afraid that we won't get the answers we are hoping for. The state better have something real conclusive up their sleeves.
i want to hear the real evidence!

I had the same impression of EA as well and that has me confused. I wish we had live audio at least:

Boss said she invited Arochi as a friend. She was not romantically interested in him. She did not know he had girlfriend. #arochitrial

I know a lot of girls who know a guy is in love with them and even call them creepy yet continue hanging out with and initiating communication. I think some girls enjoy the attention

It's not just that it wasn't blood. It's that the person who swabbed his car had been in Morris' first. That's likely what would hang a jury on how DNA got transferred if they can't be convinced he put her in the trunk.

They'll remind the jury that the DNA was found on the edge of the trunk as well, not in the trunk. Reasonable doubt could easily be raised there.

I've always believed more than one person was involved, and after two days of testimony, still feel the same.

The defense attorneys are good. They've gotten almost every witness to admit on record that they aren't sure about either their former testimony or the testimony given just minutes before to the prosecution. They've also got them to admit they were drinking and doing drugs on the night she disappeared.

What a catch HF was, huh?!
Not only did he fail CM in life, but, continues to fail her.

Why would she think he would tell her about car damage if he didn't even tell her he had a girlfriend? Is his charge of statutory rape admissible here? Haven't heard anything about it yet.

Of course we've been on this forum for a couple of years and a LOT has been said that turns into "fact" when it is instead just an opinion. We read these scenarios of Arochi jumping up off the couch to letcherously follow Christina out into the night but now we hear testimony that Arochi got up to leave first and Christina decided to go since he was leaving.

Im hoping we get more info that clears things up. Although I'm almost afraid of what we will find out as time goes on.

I don't believe they can bring that up.

Feel like I'm back in the '60's with those courtroom sketches.

Ha ha, reminds me of the Patty Hearst trial and those sketches of her and F. Lee! (Do not mean to laugh about a serious thing)

He's saving his own hide...for the time being. It's telling to me that police spent very little time investigating HF. They've looked all over this part of North Texas for Morris, but not Fort Worth where she lived with him.

Like I said, Arochi, Foster, and Barry will be sweating this whole thing out every day of the rest of their lives. The day they find her, I think, is the day they all are dragged into court on murder charges.

Finally caught up!

My first thought on drugs. I would assume if my live in boyfriend was a drug dealer and I wanted drugs, I would not have to trade him pills for coke. I would think there would be some personal stash. Since she was out with my friends, it seems reasonable to me that she was contacting Hunter to make a trade for someone at the party, not herself. She expected to return home to him and his presumed drug supply.

Please refresh me on distances. She was in Plano? Hunter was ? And what town did they live in?

I thought I remembered that there was some evidence of DNA/blood found on a pole near the car in the parking garage or is my memory in correct.

Also the camera was mentioned as missing. I thought I remember it was later found at Christina's home.

Not to mention the fact that he proved to be a LYIN' LIAR on TV and in front of PPD multiple times.
THIS^^
CM's friends are not throwing ANY shade on EA so far. Perhaps when this is all over, they'll ask him to be their child's soccer coach. However, the lies upon lies are going to need to be addressed effectively... That will be difficult, I'm not sure you can blame the drinking/drugs because EA gave specific answers, those answers will be proven wrong.

He was in Dallas. Plano isn't a far drive from Dallas; it's a regular commute. At 3 a.m. to 5 a.m., you can get from downtown Dallas to Plano in 15-20 minutes. The places they are talking about in Plano are right off the tollway here, so it's a real clean shot from Dallas to Plano, especially early in the morning.

But, we are in the age of cell phones. So, HF could have asked Barry to pick her up from Arochi, if Barry was closer and HF was too busy dealing back in Dallas.

Everyone thoroughly stinks in this mess. Which again...drugs.

The guy who scoured the parking garage for evidence said it was clean - no blood from anyone, no DNA from Morris. He was one of the first to testify today.

At this point, no one has said or testified that there was blood. And, it doesn't matter anyway because they can hang the kidnapping charge on him without blood. They are not trying for murder here.

I think if they'd found blood anywhere - his car, his parents' house, the parking lot - they would have attempted a murder charge instead of kidnapping. There have been murder cases successfully tried without bodies when enough blood evidence was found.

Not so much kidnapping. Kidnapping goes to state of mind, intent. That's why the prosecution is trying to get witnesses to say Arochi was upset, and the defense is trying to get them to all say everything seemed normal. So far, both sides have scored there...which, unfortunately might be better for the defense because all they have to do is establish reasonable doubt on the motive police say he had for the charge they're attempting.

I thought I remembered previously discussing it in the thread. I saw that they said now there was nothing found. I have followed the case since the beginning. I cant imagine how the family feels after they waited for 2 years for this trial only to be dispersed from the courtroom.

I agree CookieM. In regards to if EA decided to leave PP's first or Christina, I am wishing we had live audio because this would not be a concern but, we have:
