I tend to agree that it looks like he flip-flopped. I didn't know if it was just the twitter reporters mis-stating. First he said he saw something and then concluded with "can't say either way".

I'm also very interested in this, because I assumed that the damage happened AFTER leaving the garage. Never once have I seen an allegation that damage to the car occurred in the garage. I vividly remember driving around town after it happened and the damage reports came out looking for guard-rails or concrete barriers that were damaged wondering if it could have been his car.

I hate having to depend on other people for information. It appears the reporters are not that experienced in expert witness verbiage. They never say it looks like. They always say it is consistent with xxxx.

Some of them don't even say "HEY IM LEAVING NOW" which is annoying bc we have no idea if its just quiet.

I'm so tempted to go over there and set up shop and run my own twitter session. But of course I have work commitments next week.

I would say the reporters are not at fault. The judge dismissed the jurors and then directed the witness to choose his words carefully. Clearly everyone was confused by the testimony from this witness because he was saying two different things.

But all reported the same and the Def did too. So that probably means the jury was confused as well. So I do not blame the reporters (that's why I want to read various reporters because yesterday one reported incorrect vs others. Wish they would clarify what the witness final was from the Cross or if after they played that video ... the Def will def use this in their closing. JMHO

I have always thought that he forced CM into his car. Maybe overpowered her when she was getting her keys and drug her to his car. I thought that was how the damage could occur if she was fighting and kicked it. Just one possibility. It doesn't take long to grab someone. Especially if by surprise and their cars were parked nose to nose with a space in between.

OMG, 15 minutes and no tweets. Tap, tap, is this thing on?

I'm simple minded at times so I'm sorry if I missed the answers to these questions. Can someone help?
Is there any video evidence that shows damage to the Camaro before/after/both/neither the parking garage?
Is there any video evidence that CM was in the Camaro as it left the garage? TIA

I thought the same! It honestly would not surprise me if the damage occurred IN the parking garage. Three minutes doesn't sound like a lot but it is more than enough time. I've seen videos of abductions that take seconds. Not mention Christina is tiny and was vulnerable at the time

It seems as if the footage is too low quality to tell for sure :/

Thinking out loud..
Could be good reason for front passenger damage..

Just thought, driving into garage would show different angle than driving out. Unless they have video from 2 separate angles and/or places (have to read back and see on this) I thinking for the Def to show entering video, there must be something to it or would not have done? Wouldn't you think, especially with this witness confusing testimony, and still fresh on the jury mind.

Not sure if it was a media report I read yesterday prior to deciding not to read old stuff, but I read defendant said he hit car with fist and LEO interview with body shops said was not consistent with that. So unsure on someone fighting and causing damage. so just going to follow along lol
