Many surveillance cameras record over themselves after a period of time due to limited space. I know times have changed from the physical tape they used to use for recording, but even now, there are hard-drive limits, and many fill up quickly.

I wonder how much surveillance footage was not able to be recovered due to the three-to-four day gap in reporting her missing...

That is a VERY good point. I know many small store businesses have the same one I have on the house(if the company installing it is to be believed) and it holds approx 128 hrs of footage depending on the quality it records at.

If y'all watched the interview with her parents this morning, then y'all would know that those fifteen phone calls were BEFORE she entered the garage. Her last phone call was right before she was seen on surveillance. I hope that clears things up. We also do not know if they were consecutive or spread through the night.

Random thoughts of why you call your bf 15 times early in the morning: 1. he was supposed to drive you home but didn't show up 2. your car won't start and who else do you call that early in the morning 3. he left her a message enticing her to call him ie; i'm gonna do something to myself, if you don't call me i'm going to do this, etc. 4. She gets abducted by his known associate who tells her "call your bf and get him on the phone, or else" 5. She's abducted by bf's friend and she's in the trunk...? (would she call 911, if she didn't want him to get in trouble?).....Again, just throwing out some thoughts...

Well I think she had found out he was seeing someone else and when she called him and didn't get an answer she got upset and would keep calling till he answered her. Maybe he was out with someone and didn't want to answer her calls.
Im sure if she drove out of that garage she would have headed straight home.

THANK YOU!!
What a relief! (Sort of... I mean, it would have been nice to have a trail of breadcrumbs in the form of cell tower pings, but still, at least it takes the terrible trunk-scenario out of the running!)

Also I will be going to walk another park today, not sure which one yet, but won't be doing any real off the trail stuff because it's warm still and my LO only likes to hang out in her backpack for so long, plus with her at 30lbs now I'm finding it increasingly hard to venture around with her strapped on me. Also, in regards to safety, I will have my trained dog who will attack when commanded or if I'm attacked without command, and I have mace and my conceal carry and have practiced shooting with weights on my back. Also, when I get where I am going I text my mother in law with my coordinates and the area I will be walking and if I don't call back by a certain time she knows to call police ASAP as I live with a stalker however I refuse to not live my life in a fun filled way bc of him. With that said, I don't venture off any beaten path with my baby so chances are we won't find anything, but my eyes will be peeled.

Oh I must have missed the fact that she knew he was seeing someone else. That would most definitely explain the calls and I agree she would have left with the intention of going straight home, or, and I'm not questioning her morality, and I am not sure she would do this, but I have some wild girlfriends who might go home with someone just to "get even". I don't quite understand that rationale but I have seen it firsthand!

I agree about the cost involved, but I want to reassure everyone that Plano definitely has the manpower. Once, while heading to the gym at 4:30am (and I do mean once!) I passed NINE cruisers. The gym is less than three miles away. We were practically the only ten vehicles on the road at that hour!

It seems like standard operating procedure is to send two cruisers, each with two officers, to respond to house calls. I've seen this pattern on my street several times in the past year, and it's just a normal uneventful middle-class North Plano neighborhood off Legacy.

I still think that any LE silence here is intention. They'll be stealthy, but they won't give up.

I completely agree with the man power of the LE in this area. Everyone knows don't commit a crime in plano!

They announced early on that they found no evidence of a struggle at her car or in that area. I think once they thoroughly searched the garage, then they're out of places to search if they don't have further information. It seems clear she left in a car, and there's no point in even attempting to search for her in that case. They'll now have to develop clues rather than just boots on the ground kind of searches.

I am curious about why they were searching her old High School. That can't have been random, IMHO.
Her friend, in a post here, said they weren't searching the high school -- that's just where they met prior to a search the other day.

If it's a very co-dependant relationship, it's possible that even though she decided to leave for the weekend, she wanted re-assurance that everything with her bf would be okay, that he still loved her... so she called him 15 times... it's probably the reason she decide to drive home at 3 a.m. She wanted to smooth everything over and was very anxious that maybe he no longer cared. MOO

I just saw that and that comment is ridiculous. She said her sister was an addict for 15 years and has been clean for a couple. In Plano when all those kids overdosed happened in two phases. The first was in the late 90s/early 2000s when my brother was in school. Then about 6 years later when I was in high school. The comment states she's been doing heroin since the commenter's sister was in school. The timing makes no sense...Christina would have been a young child! Just debunking that factless rumor.

Yea that comment didn't even look right.. I'm sure said it like 6 more times in the post almost like she was trying to start something.. I don't know but the way she kept commenting and saying this just made her less believable to me.. Plus the way she was commenting didn't make any type of sense at all..

If she was abducted by a stranger or otherwise, she would have had to been taken out in a car, Imo, assuming no cars were left behind that are still there. And if she was driven out, I can't see her being within walking distance of the garage. Imo it has to come down to cars leaving within the following hour (or less) and I hope LE has images of any such cars.

Agreed. I do not believe them when they say they can't make out the cars leaving. I do believe they are holding this part back. And by all means, if it's closer to finding her then please do.. If they are going by the camera that she was last seen on then I'm almost sure they will be able to tell atleast the model of the car..

I think if you got in a fight with your bf, and decided to go out and have drinks with friends that you could get a sudden case of regrets and start calling him and when he doesn't pick up your mind thinks the worst, perhaps he his with someone else, so you keep calling and calling. And perhaps he thought he would let her think he was out and not thinking of her.
what we don't know is , did he leave her a urgent message/text and she tried responding?

I notice LE has not mentioned about any other cameras in the area where a vehicle might exit the garage.

I think if they couldn't id the cars they would be more likely to have released the footage.

Also, I will add that any time the hubby and I have an argument, I leave because I am totally one of those people who fights dirty and will say something stupid because I fight like a 14 year old girl. The funny thing is our most epic arguments are over things like politics and never anything pertaining to our usually quite happy relationship. Knowing this I will usually just ride over to the mall and walk around for an hour and if I don't answer he calls and calls and it drives him crazy. If I'm still mad I won't answer, but once I cool off I will sheepishly answer because I'm slightly embarrassed.

Hahaha I thought I was the only person that got in fights over politics and small stuff too.

OMG so off topic, so I apologize, but literally one of our worst arguments was over the movie ELYSIUM.
