Off topic, and I don't really feel I should address this, but yes, my gun is holstered under my shirt and safety on, and I have practiced removing it from the holster and shooting with her backpack on me with weights in it. When you have been beaten to an inch of your life by someone who stalks you still, the measure doesn't seem all that extreme.

But back on topic, I wonder if police will be able to release any idea of a route someone may have taken? That would be helpful in getting searches going.

Maybe he didn't go back to Ft worth and told everyone he did.

If I'm reading this correctly, she was using her phone as she approached the garage with her friend, and her last call was to her boyfriend. So, she was still holding her phone, which presumably was still switched on, when she approached her car. Her car wasn't entered, and there are no signs of a struggle ....... so what happened with the phone?

Unless the police are keeping some things back - the phone wasn't left behind, the phone wasn't used to call for help and the phone hasn't pinged anywhere.

So, if she was abducted with her phone in her hand, then could it be that more than one person was involved? Because for one person to grab the phone and disable it there and then, surely another person would be required to keep her trapped where she was? Unless someone aimed a gun at her and got her to hand it over.

Seriously, you have a little one on your back, and you say you are carrying a concealed weapon? Maybe your post was meant to be sarcastic, but this Canadian didn't pick up on that.

Dogface's cautions are not unreasonable to everyone. When out with your little one, that's 2 lives to protect. Guns are not evil, on the contrary a gun in the possession of a person with training & common sense, can protect against bad things. And in the USA, one has the right to be licensed to own & carry.

What if she didn't plan on going home.
could it be she walked to her car to get something (phone charger) or leave something and walked out again with a different destination in mind.

every one is confused about what she was wearing did she maybe buy some new clothes to wear.

do you think a phone would ping in a concrete garage? If it did ,it would only prove "it" was there at that time. If she was abducted ,once she was "neutralized" ,the phone could be disabled very quickly by one person,imo.

Good points, Yid. Which means... maybe even if she is not in the area where she was last seen, the phone itself is. It's much more likely that something small could get powered off/crushed/tossed and then overlooked, especially if the cameras were highlighting lit areas and travel routes.

Has anyone seen any references to search dogs yet?

I'm hoping some locals can answer this - are there normally Taxi cabs lined up where she was last seen?

Usually cabs sit outside of bars and wait for drunk people to come out. I know in certain areas where I live taxis are not allowed to pick up people from the street after a certain time, they must call dispatch and have one sent to them. In other counties this law does not exist.

I wonder if cab companies have been contacted or is there some rogue cabbie out there who is the perp?

My gut is telling me that there is no perp tho....JMO.
