If the video is that grainy, how do they know that EA left the garage & in that instance, how can we rule out that CM was not in the car with him? JMO.

If it is not that grainy then put the images of the other 3 cars going out of that garage for the public to see..I am sure there are 1000's of car buffs that can tell what it is ...
And how can it be ruled out she was not in the car/vehicle with one of the other 3??? JMO

Also, a case in MN some years ago, where the girl Katie (Poirer?) was abducted from a convenience store, the police sent the tape to a NASA scientist who was able to define it it enough to rule out one person who did not have a tattoo where the video showed one and to narrow down his ball cap and/or shirt, and that info produced results right away.

Unless the (other?) three cars exited very quickly, before time would have even allowed an abduction to take place? I.e more or less same time as they say the pair went in opposite directions?

Remember Carlie Brucia!

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Everyone saw her.
A nation went on alert for her.

But nobody could save her
To locate Carlie, officials here enlisted FBI investigators and NASA photo enhancement specialists. Sarasota residents volunteered their services, and members of Carlie's Girl Scout troop skipped school to hand out fliers

Yes, I remember that case well.

The only reason that seems reasonable to me is that the police do not suspect anyone in those three cars of the images of the cars have been enhanced and they know who they all belong too. IMO, i feel they know who the cars belong too, including EA.

I wonder if they used any scent dogs on his car?
the dog would be able to tell if she was in his car.

You woulda thunk, but as far as I know, no dogs were brought in because there was no evidence of a crime.

Here's a new article on cadaver dogs:

More recently, these dogs have helped convict some murder suspects, even when no body is found. Trainers and some forensic scientists say the dogs can detect human residue that's been left behind in a trunk, or on a blanket or tarp, or a temporary grave of some sort. In some cases, the dogs also help pinpoint areas where air and soil can be tested with increasingly sophisticated detection devices — though these methods have not been without controversy.

Proving what these dogs know isn't easy.

Local police departments have been reluctant to use the cadaver dogs for searches because their trainers are volunteers, but that's been changing, as the dogs’ training has become more standardized in the last decade — and as they've helped solve more cases.

The dogs are often trained at cemeteries and at specialized “body farms” that have decomposing bodies at various stages.

While humans, when alive, have individual scents, chemical reactions from decomposition are basically the same in every human, though those reactions — and the scent — change over time, forensic experts say.

When more than one dog has alerted independently in the same spot, some judges have been persuaded to allow cadaver dog evidence and testimony from the dogs’ handlers, even if investigators haven't found the body.

I know Christina's phone activity has been mentioned - 15 texts between midnight and 4:00AM to BF and last was at 3:57 or 3:58. Has there been any mention of where the last ping came from on the phone? And what time?

They reported that her phone pinged in the shops area. That was from the last ping before the phone went silent.

MCELROY: No, she was not, but she did get into an argument on the phone with Hunter, with her boyfriend, excuse me, not too long before that. And

it upset her so much that she wanted to go home and wanted to get her dog and also because she did have to be at work early in the morning.

So she was not planning originally to go home that evening. She was -- already had changed her clothes and was planning on spending the night at

her friend`s house.

So the phone was in that general area. I'm wondering if it went silent shortly after that last text.

That what I got out of it, but that's my opinion. I'll look for the link.

Look what I dug up:

I found the police blotter w/ all reports from 8/30. There was a disturbance at 5700 Scruggs way (the address they were at) a little after 2 am. Also there was another missing person reported that night (for those who thought it was a discrepancy in earlier posts)

Thank you Kwingfield!

I know I'm going over old ground, but we have Christina's phone activity to last be in the Shops area. (Don't know the time of that last activity, though.) Then we have this news clip from earlier:

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Video-Released-as-Search-for-Missing-Woman-Continues-274163951.html

They state that the video of her with the guy walking her to her car is from a camera about 50 yards from where she was parked. About 1:18 in the clip the reporter states he can see 2 other cameras from her parking spot.

I've heard nothing about other video footage except that PPD is trying to get it enhanced. (But I don't recall if they say where that other footage came from - other shops outside the garage exit, the cameras nearest her car.) I believe I remember a statement that ALL of the cameras in the garage were in working order.

It would seem that if she got to her car it would be on video. Did she forget where she parked and went off to another spot? Did whatever happened, occur in that last 50yds?

It makes me really curious as to WHEN her last phone activity (text, ping) occurred.

Yay!!! You found it I was looking too!

So did her Mom speak to Christina that night? Or is paraphrasing what BF told her?

Awesome. Too bad we don't have a detailed report, but it is something. Good job, Bootsctr! So things on Scruggs Way were getting a bit out of hand around 2ish. And someone else went missing at least for a time. Hmmmm...now how do we find out what happened?

I believe that was the last time it was used
