Oh yes, I remember that. I was on that case early on. WG. Just about everyone thought he was the culprit and that he was creepy and he was the last one to see her, he had been following her so it had to be him, and that he went to the police because he thought he was smarter than the police and was putting one over on them and after all, don't ya know, perps insert themselves into the investigation so yes, it was WG, it had to be. LOL Until JLM had to give DNA samples and his background was looked in to. Then poor WG was exonerated. He was innocent. IMO, FWIW, MOO.

I actually think it's possible WG may have made HG a victim that night if JM hadn't. And the info he gave LE was almost all wrong! He got the black guy part right, but had his clothes and hair wrong, and he said he stopped following when JM started walking with HG yet he's clearly seen continuing to follow them in the surveillance video.

Sorry for the OT. But it does tie in to this in a way...it's entirely possible that a person who might look like a suspect could provide info to LE...

The family says he has changed his story. He is asking how would the family know that, if the only people he has given info to is the detectives? And saying that he doesn't want to talk to them because "they're obviously going to [lie]".

I would suggest that they would know because these detectives he spoke with have shared that info with the family, which is what the family says.

It wouldn't.be that hard for him to say "I did not change my story." Yet he doesn't say that, does he?

Actually, he does say this:

"Obviously if there was an inconsistency with the detectives they would be on me, because that’s pretty sketchy to be changing stories all the time. I went to talk to them four times – four days in a row, and my story was consistent, according to [police].”

I lived in Plano yrs ago when my oldest was a baby, my middle daughter lived there about 5 yrs ago so I am just somewhat familiar with the area but honestly I dont recall there being any wooded areas to hide anyone etc. Mostly sidewalks and concrete and buildings...not like where Hannah or Morgan went missing from. I recall hardly any trees when I was there..unless they were put in for landscaping in a yard or something.

You would be amazed at how many areas there are that you just never noticed while you were going about your daily business. Ever since Texas Equusearch was here and I helped search, I drive around with an eye out for that kind of place. Woodsy, treelined, fields, walking trails, etc. It's way more than you think. Not to the extent that some other rural areas are, but there's a ton.

For a few weeks, every time I'd drive by somewhere new, I'd think to myself "I hope they searched that area."

I believe he did say that.

Last paragraph

"Obviously if there was an inconsistency with the detectives they would be on me, because that’s pretty sketchy to be changing stories all the time. I went to talk to them four times – four days in a row, and my story was consistent, according to [police].”

I mean specifically those words. He talks all around it but never flat out denies changing his story. His words are an attempt to convince you (general you, not specifically you) believe he didn't change his story without actually saying "I didn't change my story."

Just wanted to say this is a great group and I have been glued to reading it whenever I get the chance. This story has really affected me and I think about Christina all the time. Believe it or not it has taken me 2 months to figure out how to join this chat. Finally figured it out tonight!

I think that at this point in the case, we have gone through everything possible & now it's just time to wait and see what the new information brings.

Very astute observation, Mz.
Most likely lawyer-speak.

I'm not sure what your post has to do with mine, as, I was replying to another poster.
All good, though.

Thanks! (Green circles are where Christina's car was parked?) You could have entered the garage without going thru the main entrance (2nd photo) but you would have been picked up on one of two cameras. Same with the last photo. This makes me wonder how ANYTHING could have happened and not been recorded. IF all the cameras were working.

Okay putting out an irritation warning up front b/c I know this has been discussed ad nauseam but I still can't wrap my head around it. (I'm the dumb one). Which camera caught them walking?

First photo? Camera at the entrance.

All good, though.

I was making an observation. Stating my opinion. All I want is to find Christina.

At this point, EA's family are saying one thing and Christina's are saying another. Trying to remain unbiased here - until I see something from LE in the media saying one thing or another I have to discount both as unsupported.
