So does that mean the video they haven't released has evidence of a crime/possible crime?

If it had evidence of a crime...would we be on thread #13?
IMO. No.

A dead phone .....
I'm sure there was no house phone.

I dont think many young ppl or older come to think of it let their phone die.
Power cords for car for home.
While sleeping it's plugged in...

For me this is a Huge red flag.

I think his was off most of the night and her last signal was from the garage. If that's truly the case as LE has stated that would indicate to me whatever happened did indeed happen in that garage. IMO

And nothing caught on camera??

But JM said she was intending to stay the night until she had an argument with her boyfriend on the phone and decided to go home to ft worth. So if it was an argument in my opinion he was answering or speaking to him.

But if it didn't, why wouldn't they release that as well?

I can say that in MOST cases I have followed, LE never released ANY surveillance footage. HTH.

I agree in general. Also, many live-in relationships are just more casual. People do go their own way without oversight by the other.

Funny I find just the opposite
almost like a marriage.
Nothing casual about it..

Lol where ya goin
Who ya going with
What time will u be home
Make sure to call if you will be late.

These 2 were boyfriend and girlfriend not just roomies sharing the rent

Which is why I asked why they released what they did in the first place. Maybe to get Christina's image out there, even as grainy as it was? I don't know....

Yeah. I am the proud parent of several of these twenty somethings. LOL.
They do not function without their cell phones. Most nights, I will get a text around 3 AM ("phone is dying, be home soon") and the second they walk in the house, they plug their phones in to charge.
Their phones are their lifelines.

Okay good point. The whole phone situation is confusing. I'm not sure how they could have no signal from her after the garage. Did it die right then?

Same with my kids.

She could have turned it off. It could have been destroyed by anyone she had a confrontation with.
An iphone is so easy to disable. Drop it in a cup of coffee..done. (I speak from first hand experience)

That is fantastic news .... which article and press release from PPD state it was exactly the garage?? I am looking for it ....

PIO PPD Tilley has only stated this :
http://www.click2houston.com/news/family-seeks-answers-in-womans-disappearance/27915198
Police said Morris' cell phone is either dead or turned off. "We have been able to track the phone's last known location and that was in the Shops at Legacy," Tilley said.

Does any one have the new updated link??? TIA

I don't know if this was answered earlier, but yes, members here have been very helpful in some cases. LE does often look at cases on our site. We don't know which ones or when they are here, most of the time. It's my personal opinion that LE reviews threads when tips and leads slow down. It is time consuming and most LE doesn't have time to read all the posts, especially when a case is very active. Generally they are out, in the field, interviewing, searching, etc. and fielding phone calls. But we do know they visit the site.

Salem

OT. I have been very curious about this for a long time: has a crime ever been solved based on information initiated or shared on WS?
I do believe the outside world (especially LE and defense staff) checks in on these threads regularly.
Does anyone (Mods) know?

I disagree. If she was using her phone the entire night, I doubt she was charging it at the same time. I'm sure are a lot of people that are very diligent in charging their phones & those who are not. My phone is almost dead and it's only 11:45.

Yes, I wonder about voice mail, too. I'm not trying to justify HF actions, or lack of them, but I know my son and daughter never use voice mail.......they text.
I don't know what to think about the 4 no contact days. Her mother has apparently said it was not unusual for them to take days apart if they were fighting.

I do. And I'm older than Christina and the men I date are older than HF. It's a lack of maturity and even more so a lack of responsibility that knows no age limit. IMO

It can also be seen as a form of mental abuse, imo. To take off for days and ignore a significant other is telling the person they have no regard for their feelings by not acknowledging them. I feel it puts them in complete control of the situation and acts as a punishment. The battery of calls and texts that night show the desperation of a person thought to be ignored and she was treated this way on a regular basis according to her mother. This goes beyond immaturity and into being calculating and cruel, imo. I hope LE gives it an insightful look with a psychologist/psychiatrist in relation to this case.

Bouncing off your post - my son who has never been in trouble with LE would be crucified on boards such as this. He comes across very emotionless to the world; almost cold. However, those of us who know him (family and friends) know who he is as a person and what a caring individual he is. JMO (of course its my opinion because I'm talking about my son LOL) :)

I agree. I watched one EA interview and he came across as concerned and scared. Also, young people (well, many people of any age) are not used to being interviewed by reporters and being on camera - especially regarding something so grave as a missing person. I know there's the adage that if there is no wrong-doing then there is nothing to be afraid of, but that is not always true.

Or did she shut it off? I've said before: the timing of the text about not having keys was at 3:36 which would be as she was leaving the apt. The time of the last text was 3:58, which would have been as she approached her vehicle. I find this interesting to say the least.
