He changed his story multiple times.

This is EA's answer to that:

“I don’t see how they would know if I’ve only talked to the detectives,” he said. “That’s why I don’t want to talk to them, because they’re obviously going to change things on me. But how would they know if I’ve only talked to the detectives? Obviously if there was an inconsistency with the detectives they would be on me, because that’s pretty sketchy to be changing stories all the time. I went to talk to them four times – four days in a row, and my story was consistent, according to [police].”

Carlton, do you know why EA's brother was questioned 3x?

I do think LE vacuumed his car, then went over it again and again, and even finally took the seat belt and mats to be tested. They kept it for 11 days and are obviously being thorough with the car and with him. He went in to talk with them 4 days in a row? He'd really have to trip up at some point, one would think. He may have been willing to help until he got death threats. Unless the family knows something we don't know, I am having a hard time picturing him just all of a sudden, out of the blue with no motive, tazing or slamming her to the ground, putting her in his car, then going the same route home. I think those threats have truly scared him and his family.

We really don't know at this point that EA has no motive. It's possible he "delivered" CM to another or knew that the other would be near/in the garage, rather than man-handling CM into his own car. MOO, obviously as I'm not privy to information except what we get on WS.
Also, I'm really not buying into his great fear of the threats. People mouth off all types of obscenities when they are anonymous. I think that's more victim-stage-setting. IMO/
MOO.

Are they still searching for her? I wish the forensic testing didn't take so long. How do we KNOW he changed his story? How does the family know that for a fact?

When LE was investigating the my nephew's death, they didn't share everything with us by any means, but they did tell us when the POI changed her story a few times. After her second interview with them, they said there were several inconsistencies, and she kept changing the details of that night/morning. They just let her talk and talk for hours, and she probably gave 10 different versions of happened. They did not tell us every detail of the conversation, but they told us enough to know she clearly was lying.

I'm not sure if that is normal procedure for LE but they could have possibly shared that bit with the family.

Who knows. I just wish they could release a little more information so that if EA is truly innocent in this, the public will leave he and his family alone.

I have such a hard time believing he knows nothing and the police have nothing. It's got to be unimaginably difficult for her family! :(

That is ALWAYS a major red flag.

I wish a link would be posted with LE as the source. I am not a HuffPo fan, and while her mom may have said this, do we know HER source?

  • #908
It would be a huge red flag if he denied even walking her to her car (until they let him know they had it on tape). But if he said he didn't "offer" as opposed to "we were both leaving at the same time" and they just happened to be in the same parking lot. I keep going back to people saying they were parked "nose to nose" or something along those lines. I agree that it is correct to be suspicious of him, and for LE to go as far as taking the seat belts and mats, they obviously are, too.

I'm not a Huff fan, either........and most definitely not a Fox News fan. No, I don't know her source, sorry.

I hope Christina's whereabouts are learned at some point, in less time than the years other young women who have gone missing in similar ways and still not been found.

Also, some of those cases dispute the idea that people will "crack" when more than one knows a secret, Imo. At the least, they seem to be able to hold out for years. The people surrounding Haleigh Cummings when she vanished appear to be heavily involved with drugs, including possible addictions, yet they are serving long sentences and have not given up any new information, which almost certainly they have, in five years or more. Also in Kortne and Lauren's cases, it would be shocking if neither of the groups of people being "eyed" for her disappearance do not know more, yet they have remained silent for years now.

Imo, if a missing persons case "breaks", is it often sooner rather than later. The ones that are still unresolved may never have an answer or an arrest. And a case like Christina's, just over two months in, could still go either way. An arrest could come suddenly, or we could be here a year from now with the same questions.

Good question, too. I guess the why would be to see what they did together following that night...one of the two would mess up somewhere along the line, I would think.

I do feel if LE has got all the results from his car and his statements are true ie timeline LE could maybe calm the suspicion on him or at least state that she was never in his car.
if he is not involved than i think he is just immature and inconsiderate.
i'm starting to think a lot about ALP and HF's fight and whether some sort of revenge was sort.

  • #913
Do we know if LE has interviewed each person that was at the party that night? And who drove to What-a-Burger? Or did they walk there, too?

i'm starting to think a lot about ALP and HF's fight and whether some sort of revenge was sort.

This is most definitely where I ended up last night; why, out of the blue it seems, did this group invite CM to party? Wasn't that unusual? And was she fighting with HF about the fact that she was going? I'm concerned about EA and her ex being bff's...along with one of the girls. Hinky to me. The only other thing I could think of is that somebody was watching her earlier, maybe got rejected by her and was lying in wait, but how could a stranger know she was coming to the garage at 4am? Don't the bars close @ 2am? My heart breaks for her friends and family, sweet little girl with so much to look forward to. *sigh***

Not sure, like I said awhile back he was probably interviewed for timeline purposes. EA's interview lies probably caught his brother covering for him and was brought to his attention moo

Yes i find the timing of her sudden invite very strange and i just don't see it been a stranger its got to have been someone she knows. imo

In the garage parking lot surveillance, it shows the two of them entering the parking garage. It is stated also that it shows three cars leaving the garage within that time frame. Does LE know for sure and do we have a time where the cameras show EA's car leaving? IOW, from the time we see them entering the parking garage, to the time EA's car is seen on camera leaving, how many minutes was that? How long was EA in that garage before he left? Do we know that time?

I would encourage everyone to be cautious of assuming he's lying about threats. Regardless of what your opinion is of him or his story, we don't know what has been said/sent to him. Cases like this bring out the best and the worst of people. It only takes one threat to come to fruition to destroy another family. It's just not something I think we should take lightly. And I would say this about ANY of the people involved in this case, including CM's family. JMO, MOO, and all that.

I didn't say or think he's lying about threats. You misread my post.
I said, "Also, I'm really not buying into his great fear of the threats".
I believe he (on advice of lawyer) is using those threats to play up his victim card to the public. HE wants our sympathy, not our suspicions.
Christina is the victim, as is her family, not EA. He is a "witness" that many believe probably holds the key as to what happened that night.
