Let's be real...

He didn't get an attorney until he did all the media interviews and it bit him in the butt. He had some spokesperson acting as his attorney.

It's not that unbelievable an attorney saw him in TV doing his awful interviews, thought "wow! This kid needs help and it could benefit me. Let me give him a call." And worked it out with him.

Don't think his financial situation is that fab being unemployed now and living with mom and pops. So I'm just observing.
Happens.

Who knows.

I believe the spokesperson was also an attorney, just not a DP one.

No ma'am.

This is from a brittany feagan article:

"Carlos Quintanilla, president of Accion America and spokesperson for the Arochi family, disagreed."

I've not found anything on him about being any sort of attorney when I've looked.
The reason I checked was bc I was confused why the media had reported he "hired" an attorney after we all thought he had one already.

If you find something do share though. :)

Can anyone post the name of EA's current DP attorney? I can't remember his name, but I do know that he just lost a big case involving the son of a Big time athlete.

One of the news stations did identify Carlos as an attorney. I can't remember specifically which one, but remember doing a double take since I know him. Such a small world sometimes. But you are correct, he is not an attorney. According to Carlton Accoin America has distanced themselves from AE b/c they took a hit defending him only to find out he was lying to them as well after the warrant was released.

Yes I think it was easier to call him the attorney for the media than a "spokesperson/translator" and they prob didn't care what his title was since he was allowing some interviews they wanted badly.

Brittany was careful with her identification of him.

Giggle toes beat me to it but he's same lawyer representing the suspect Eric Williams in the Kaufman political killings. Whom I definitely believe is guilty along with his psycho wife. He seems more together than she does and there's talk she'll testify against him (has a different lawyer) but with that evidence of her writing the names on the list I think she egged it on and wasn't the victim she's playing per her claims)

I don't think Christina left with EA b/c of drugs. She strikes me as someone more responsible than that. I think she left with EA b/c she wanted to go home and he was her only option. IMO

My apologies I just looked and Paul Johnson was Appointed to represent Kim Williams

For those that don't that case, Eric Williams killed an ADA, the DA and the DA's wife in Kaufman County, just east of Dallas County. HUGE death penalty case. His wife drove him to both places. Paul Johnson also represented former Dallas Maverick Nick Van Exel's son who killed his best friend, allegedly to keep him from snitching. He got 60 years. FWIW

I do see them as disgruntled in the workplace ..MOO!

BBM - Respectfully ask why? I didn't see that but I could have missed something. I do think they are both critical to this case by what they have stated. Do you know if they both worked with EA on the 30th?

Thanks for the clarification. NBC, http://www.nbcnews.com/dateline/update-missing-america-christina-morris-n203641, also reported him as a lawyer representing Arochi. And yet another reason to not put too much faith in MSM, heh?

EA lawyer Paul Johnson listed top 4th for Criminal Defense per this link.

http://bestlawyersindallas.blogspot.com/2014/06/the-2014-list-of-dallas-best-criminal.html?m=1

I see besides the case I listed and Saint listed he also represented the guy who drown his two kids and was sentenced to death.

Doesn't look like the people he's represented so far got a slap on the wrist. Things could get real interesting once the forensics get back and once they have more evidence as if EA harmed her he'll be offered a plea so maybe he'll fess up but considering he's not the sharpest tool in the shed/his elevator doesn't got to the top, my chances are he won't give up any information so praying LE find her wherever she is so whoever caused her abduction (which I completely 99.9% believe to be EA, only % I'm debating on is if be acted alone after.). Time, crime scene when found or disclosed shall I say, and forensics will tell!!!!!

It could go either way- sometimes people report what they see and sometimes people embellish what they see. If you work under an arrogant a$$hole, your perception maybe skewed, versus working under a likable manager.... IDK? Humph- thinking now.

Thanks, Cindy. You've been a big help as well. I'm going to guess they could have forensics back. I'm also going to guess - and saying this makes my stomach hurt - is they have a general idea of where she is. IMO he acted alone but might have had help getting rid of physical evidence or having someone cover his story, as weak as it is. All this is completely MOO but my main point is to thank you, Cindy.

Seems like just about all lawyers in TX would be death penalty qualified...
