I just wanted to say that that's awesome you're helping search [modsnip]. Really that is so great. But try to keep in mind, anyone who is on here cares about this case. Not to mention that you don't know what anyone has contributed to the case. Donations? Supplies? Or even searching ourselves. Just because we don't talk about what we have done to help on here or hang out with the VI's doesn't make us less interested or caring for what happened to Christina.

By asking questions we don't have answers to does not make us an enemy or mean we are against anyone here.

[modsnip] I want justice for Christina also.

Good job on your helping.

:tyou::heartbeat:
OMG Post of the month here!! Thank you Gigglin - you expressed this so eloquently!

What did I miss? Why are the VIs not going to be here?

[modsnip] A few days ago JMOM said she was leaving, but she did come back and post after that. MY OPINION is that JMOM has been very busy with probably helping Jonni get ready to go back home, helping with the fundraisers this week-end, etc. IDK but I don't see any indication that they have both left permanently. And for everything that is holy, please - this is my speculation only lol.

You have me! I was having a family day yesterday. Needed a break. Lots of stuff coming up and a few extra responsibilities. May not be on as much but I'm here. I search a lot but I will be here as much as I can to help.

BBM - I agree. Very unfortunate. We can't be of much help when we don't know what we what don't know, IMO.

VI's are important here. I hope posters maintain respect for each other. WS is a great forum...with many experienced sleuthers.

Here's hoping that our VI's return & also that we help CM/her family & loved ones.

For you, CM....we are fighting for you & the truth.

Regarding the bite mark...I don't think we need to be questioning whether it was there or not. I think it was in warrant. Enrique admits he has a bite mark. He said it happened in a fight before Christina went missing. He didn't say "What bite mark".

I was referring to the publicity for more clients..I had an attorney not too long ago pro bono and everyone knew it...I think that would surface that
Mr . Johnson was doing this pro bono....if he is defending that other high profile case does it make sense for him to take on a pro bono case now? Gosh, he would never sleep!

For some, defense attorneys are not the most popular folks around; I get that. But some lawyers take some cases pro bono or at a reduced rate because they want to help someone. It happens. imo.

Most of the MSM reported that Enrique Arochi "hired " Paul Johnson, not that PJ was appointed to represent EA.

There usually is not a grand announcement.

Or or maybe that incorrect information was posted for a reason?

Thank you for this. Yes, it stemmed from a possible incorrect answer IMO from VI Carlton. So what - he made a mistake...it happens. Others were trying to clear it up and from there, it became non-productive and personal IMO.

It was just an idea.

Thanks. Just wanted to be sure that was what you were saying. I appreciate you saying that. It is very helpful to me.

Pushed post too fast. Sorry. Maybe he made a mistake? We are human we all make mistakes. Sure it wasn't intentional.

In my state, defense attorneys are required to take on TWO court appointed cases per year pro bono.
A friend of mine has recently gotten in trouble. He was lucky enough to fall into the hands of one of the biggest and most expensive defense attorneys...pro bono. Just sayin'.

He would have had to request a court appointed attorney, right? So it would mean the court appointed a high profile lawyer to defend EA in a case over a $650 phone? Which is only a misdemeanor, right?

If you go back to my original post at top, I said IN MY STATE. This may not be true in TX. Also, it is court mandated for each defense attorney. It is not publicized WHICH two cases are done pro bono. It is each attorney's "giving back" opportunity each year.

You are right. We had a very busy week last week. Jonni left yesterday and my brain needed a break. I spent the day with my hubby who I feel like I've only seen in passing for months. I'm here just been busy!

Oh okay :) no problem. Sometimes my cat lays on the keyboard and I'm always scared he is going to lay on the post button in mid stream lol.

So we have zero Vi's?
Was this due to bickering and high school stuff? If so, thats such an insult. No point for any of us to be on here if we cant get info from the FEW ppl that have it and take their personal time to come on here and clear things up for us, and then get harassed. We were getting so close to hearing about the next break.
The goal was to work together to get Christina home to friends, new and old, and of course, her family. How dissapointing to lose Carlton and Jmom.
About as dissapointing as the Nancy Grace episode Thursday night. I thought Jane V. did a far better segment. I loved Nancy Grace and have always supported her (dancing stars and all) but what was up with giving all the attention to someone like Bill Cosby when someone like Sweet Christina Morris is missing? Makes no sense at all. I myself have placed Nancy Grace in my "time out" for now.
Or at least until she says "unleash the lawwwwyyyyyyers"!

And in my opinion...EA is guilty and proven guilty of............. LYING!!! For starters!

I appreciate, as well, all the input of regular posters here. I think everyone matters and has something to contribute. I especially appreciate the questions, the confirmations, and the differing views that are not only tolerated, but welcomed. (imo) When I read kindness and tolerance and open-mindedness, it's what keeps me coming back to this thread -- in addition to my for concern for Christina, a woman I don't even know, but who has been in my thoughts and prayers.

To me, it's about connecting the dots. There is pretty much a common thread to the party that night, most of the people at the party, at least when it was 4 or 5 (I believe we could be up to 10 now) went to Allen High School at the same time. HP and ALP also went to Allen HS - why would they boycott the party? Was the argument between CM and HP about the get together that Friday night? I know.. I know... Can't go there.
That's exactly the reason I asked in the first place. You said exactly what I was thinking. Imo, it could be important.
Thank you

Again it was and idea!!!! Stop guys seriously. My statement was an idea. But are you the person that had the yearbook? Who had the exact yearbook? I haven't gotten to that part yet. I did get a message about it tho.

Oh great. And I get my butt kicked every time I ask for or try to provide info with links for backing? Ugh. Now I really don't know what to think. I thought the point was to provide information not mislead. Frustrating to say the least.

I didn't quite grasp the importance of where HF went to school when these posts were going on but it seems to have passed now.

I do not have a yearbook but went to the HS and looked at one. I'm sure you have friends in the area with kids that age that will pull one off their shelf. The people in my neighborhood have kids from a neighboring district or I would have done that.

I dont think the attorney could be pro bono/assigned from the court yet. He hasnt been charged with anything.
