I didn't say anything about bf disappearing her. I'm just trying to figure out the 15 calls and didn't realize until this morning there was a dog she was supposedly going to get that evening. Maybe bf didn't want her to drive all that way after ( presumably ) having a few drinks.
Right and LE has ruled in/ out no one to my knowledge.
BF is being cooperative but I wonder why it took him nearly a week to agree to hand over his phone and do we know if he ever did hand over the phone?

Yesterday on one of the reports with news, it was said he voluntarily gave his phone to police.

If, in fact, there is no video footage showing the friend getting into his car...this changes things for me. She could have walked over to her car to take something/leave something and then walked over to his car. Too many maybes and ifs.

I take all the info being released with a grain of salt. I have seen LE state "he/she is not a suspect", only to see THAT person arrested several days later.

It seems highly suspicious to me that Nancy Grace didn't hone in on the friend and go into that like a bee on honey. She totally avoided talking about the friend and her MO would be to shred the lack of evidence up and down... I can hear her now saying "What you didn't actually SEE HIM get into his car alone"... etc... Everyone knows the last person to see them is suspect regardless of what you are being told... he is suspect. I don't care what they say. They can't say but he is number one suspect. And as you guys always say... JMO :) I don't really know but from what I have seen in past cases, he is SO YES a suspect.

Agreed.
Between this guy and the BF my hink-o-meter is working over time.

OK TY , I remember a few days ago hearing he was ' supposed to hand it to LE ' on that day , which was several days after she first was missing. So I wondered why the delay.

I've read people saying that this is a safe area, so maybe the pair of them thought that once they'd reached the car park, there was no risk, or maybe neither considered there was any risk to walking in the car park alone to start with.

I tend to agree with this...I have met my husband at Shops of Legacy before and walked back to my car at 10pm alone and never thought one thing about it and I'm 38. If there were any indication that area were unsafe, he would never let me walk alone. Based on the neighborhood and the young "invincible" feeling most people have in their early 20s, it would not surprise me at all if all of Christina's friends thought it was NBD to walk alone there at night. Hell, at 4:30-5:00am in this area, you are very likely to see runners out for their morning training runs. In the summer, going to run earlier is better because it heats up much past 8am.

More so, how did the friends leave if they came with her?

I don't think they came with her. I think they all arrived around the same time, parked in the same garage, and went into the restaurant/bar.

I guess they all left before her then.

:sigh: Really starting to feel like a crime of opportunity. I don't think the poor pooch played into what happened to Christina. Maybe the boyfriend was trying to deflect attention away from himself by bringing the pooch into the story ? I think the guy that was walking with Christina was ready to leave as he thought Christina was going to do the same thing. He left and for some reason Christina lagged before attempting to get in her vehicle.

Maybe the argument between Christina and BF was based on they both left to do their own thing that weekend and she thought he was going to take care of the dog and he thought she was going to care of the dog. She became upset when she realized no one was taking care of the dog. She had to make new plans because now she was going to have her dog with her. Maybe she felt like she had to get hold of the friend she was going to stay with and ask if she could bring her dog too; although, I did read the "LAST" reported cell phone call was to the BF.

It's as if the camera is watching them so could also someone else be watching and focusing particularly on Christina. When Christina and her walking partner split ways the perp moved in closer. Seems as though Christina would have screamed or something. It always amazes me at how fast people can disappear.

Surely! Because as Woe.B.Gone said, would not they have noticed Christina's car still in the same parking space and wondered why her car was still there and reported something fishy then. I don't know. At 23 I guess you are still 10 feet tall and bullet proof. :sheesh: :dunno:

"One group of volunteers located some clothes in a field, which will be tagged as potential evidence, according to David Tilley, with the Plano Police Department. The clothes, however, do not match the description of what Morris was last known to be wearing.

Plano police asked that anyone with information about Christina Morris contact them at 972-424-5678."

NBC 5's Ben Russell contributed to this report.

It's been reported that Christina had originally planned to stay the night at her friends apartment (before the plans changed re: her dog), and that she had already changed her outfit at least once between leaving the restaurant/bar and leaving her friends apartment. So, maybe the clothing found was the outfit she changed out of, or another outfit she had brought along to her friends house?

Thank you Kaylynn! I thought I had read she might have changed her outfit. Do we think she might have decided to change clothes at her car? From the latest link and video reporters are describing the parking garage as being thought of as "one of the safest places on earth." Maybe that's a stretch....

She was seen carrying a backpack on the surveillance video - maybe she had clothes in there?

Do we know that this Nickerson was actually the person walking with her or was he just someone she had hung out with at some point that night.

  • #358
they found clothes? have they been identified as belonging to her?

Right. I asked this last page and still haven't gotten an answer. I think we should hold off on saying he's the dude on camera with her until it is confirmed.

No, they haven't. They have been tagged as potential evidence but do not match the clothing she was last seen wearing, so it is still unknown if they belong to her or not.
