I know the after party she went to was in the Shops. I am referring to whomever's plano apartment she was planning on staying at for the night.

Ahh - gotcha. I thought it was the same, but could definitely be another apt. Don't think that has been clarified.

While I agree in general - I think the area is still considerably safe. Just that walking to your car in the later hours of the night will be a little more disconcerting. Always need to keep your eyes open ladies. Be aware and look around, no matter where you are.

BUT - I have to add....if it comes up that it was someone she knew, then it'll not be so bad. Because it was someone who had a plan or meant to do something vs. random.

I think even if it is someone she knows. This is all over the news, who knows what a weirdo would be thinking if he knows the cameras don't work and at this hour a young girl was easily taken and was walked most of the way to her car and still vanished. Might open the door to the weirdos that were once warded off because of the "safeness" and cameras etc. All these proactive things put in place that have failed at this time.

My understanding is yes. They were in the apartments across Legacy - off Parkwood/across from HP (formerly EDS).

ETA: All very close and within walking distance of the garage/The Shops.

Has it been reported that she was going to stay with a girlfriend?

If you feel parking garages should have working camera's, even suggesting a law, how about drones watching everyone's moves?

Why not? The government already does whatever it pleases anyways? If it it keeps everyone safe go for it.

Yes, it was reported that her plan was to stay at her friends apartment, and that plan later changed after an argument with her boyfriend (over the phone, I think).

Drones watching everyone's moves vs Cameras in a parking garage are very different.

I think it's important to remember that the police department does not owe us or the media one spec of truth - they aren't under oath. Anything they offer up could be a half-truth and I feel like they are keeping a LOT close to the vest - including not filling the family in on things. An example of this is the cameras - for all any of us know - all 3 cameras could have been in good working condition and they know what cars are on the film. They know and reasonably have access to everything we've discussed here - toll tag records, camera, cell phone pings. It is a wealthy community with lots of resources, tax base, etc. They have the resources to take care of this.

Regarding keeping everything close to the vest, it's important to remember that many of Christina's friends (and her siblings friends) are young, in college/just out of college and they talk - a lot - in person and via social media. The PD has to be concerned about leaked information making its way out to the potential perps and the general public.

Being from the area, I have a lot of confidence in the abilities of the Plano PD. JMO, but I think they know a LOT and may be just giving the perp enough rope to hang himself. If she is indeed no longer with us, having the recovery (alive or not) by Texas Equusearch would be the final touch on the investigation.

Reference the recent Erin Corwin case in California - little to no information from the PD, people criticized them for not doing enough and letting the accused go back to Alaska. A few (long) weeks later, they recovered her body and promptly arrested the accused.

I'm going to choose to have faith that the PPD and TxEq are a lot closer to solving this than we think.

Texas Equusearch joins search for missing Plano woman

"At this point in time, it really does not look good," said the group's director Tim Miller, who admitted he's not going to sugar-coat the present situation.

Volunteers covered a 10- to 12 square-mile block near where Christina Morris was last seen. Morris vanished a week-and-a-half ago from a garage at the Shops at Legacy in Plano early Saturday morning.

"As long as we know where she's not, at we hold on to that little sliver of hope," Miller said."

Yup. I don't think it was like a after party. I think it was more so everyone going grabbing something to eat and heading back to the friends apartment to hangout a little before staying the night there..

"Miller told News 8 a lot more resources are expected by Wednesday.

And on Thursday, Equusearch hopes to have more people on horses and even a drone-mounted camera providing an aerial view. Miller said that could help a lot.

"My biggest hope is we don't have to be here tomorrow...my biggest hope," Miller said on Tuesday afternoon.

Hope is renewed as another group and more volunteers step in. When News 8 asked how long the group will continue to search, Miller said, "We're in for the long haul."

Are you suggesting you don't believe she's alive?

The important word is "girlfriend". I have only heard "friend". If my memory is correct, the party was at a male friends place.

So, TES has to get the approval of the FAA to fly the drone.

You know they said no sign of a struggle and nothing found by her car ..... but they did not go there until 4 days later. Pretty sure anything loose was picked up or cleaned up before they got there. Hope they talked to cleaning people. Her stuff just may have been picked up ... busy holiday weekend.
Since they usually have contract cleaning an garbage probably extra traffic for holiday and extra pick up of trash.
I feel sorry for PPD and TE because they are at such a disadvantage. Please Dear God something break!

It was at a friends house that was a girl.. That's why they are looking for a white t shirt that was big on her. She had changed into a tshirt that was her friends because she was planning to staying the night. The friend is a little bit on the bigger side so the shirt would have been way too big on Christina.
