Definitely something to consider... IMO...

We don't know this as factualOk so this tells us what?
EA did NOT have a dead body in his car.
So where did he take her?
HOME?
You followed Heather Elvis, right? Interesting because in both cases no crime scene, both went missing near there cars, both cases LE believed the missing person left in the perps car, both cases perp(s were charged with kidnapping. In HE they were also charged with murder AND no body. Here no murder AND no body and they have stated they have no evidence to believe she is not alive. They didn't say that after they arrested the perps in Heathers case. To ME I find that telling, but confusing because of their areas of searching.
If they had evidence of murder, they could file it, and/or they wouldn't make the above statement. Of course it is always better to have a body, but I really don't believe they know what happened, meaning if she is alive or not. In many cases they know, but can't prove it.
There are other types of evidence besides blood evidence that LE could have used to make the aggravated kidnapping arrest.

And I believe PPD stated DNA not only factor.
True. And they could have DNA evidence, but not blood evidence.
Well if she died in his car forensics would tell that.
He would not be charged with Ag. Kidnapping!
It would be Murder or suspicion of
Didn't PD say they have no reason to believe she is not alive?
Her hair could be in the car.
A broken fingernail.
A fiber from her clothing.
skin cells.
makeup smear or stain.
Alright time for me to take a break

Better luck later!
CBS 11 DFW just reported again. Will add link when posted
That's what crossed my mind with the "depression"
I just can't. Are we really dissecting a statement made by someone who is in the middle of an emotional turmoil that thankfully, few of us will ever have to experience? There seems to be more outrage over statements made by VIs than over the fact that Christina is missing...or that some people have the nerve to rip down a missing poster. That kind of action takes a really special person, I don't care what their reasons are for ripping them down. I think I'll join you for a little while, gigglingtoes :/
And before anyone dissects and misinterprets my post, I don't think VIs should have free reign to say what they want or remain totally unchallenged, but the nitpicking...
That's one way to look at it. But, a sane person would certainly be depressed upon being arrested for a serious crime. An insane person, may or may not be depressed over the event so I don't think his depression will be helpful towards an insanity plea.
I just said I didn't care if he's depressed or suicidal. Certainly I don't want him to kill himself. I want him to sit in there and suffer like I am sure Christina suffered when he kidnapped her. I just want him to flap his gums and tell us where Christina
