it does seem they were not able to find her DNA inside his car and only in the trunk. But he did spend so much time making sure the inside was clean and vacuumed it may take a more extensive thorough search. I am curious to see if the unknown male DNA found is EA's.
I don't understand why people think LE would not have EA's DNA already. I believe "Unknown male DNA" is exactly what they say it is...from an unknown male not EA.

They didn't. That was one specific thing they were obtaining with the last search warrant. It says so on page 1 section 2.1
...DNA samples from saliva and/or blood from Arochi....

This is surprising to me. I would think they'd have requested a warrant to get his DNA much earlier.

This timing of arrest and warrant being unsealed also was done during a holiday break while kids are off school and home. Jmo...

Whereabouts is the bleach mentioned please?

I remember reading all purpose cleaner or something (with bleach?) - don't recall a straight bleach container.
A look at the warrant is what's needed. :doorhide:

Here's a new one ~ :bricks:

Police can just ask people to give their DNA though. Sometimes they swab a whole neighborhood when someone is found murdered and raped. The men who turn LE down receive extra attention.

Is it certain EA wasn't swabbed during one of his early interviews?

Well tell me where you see that they already had his DNA? Because according to the latest warrants that were released they swabbed his cheeks for his DNA while he was in jail. I do not recall the first warrant mentioning they took his DNA so please tell me why you dont understand my logic. Why do they need it again if they already had it?

If he was they wouldn't have needed to get swabs again. They don't even need to get a warrant to get a DNA sample if you are arrested for a violent crime. It was a Supreme Court ruling a little while back. But I'm sure having the warrant to obtain it just simplifies the processes, since they were getting the warrant anyway to collect possible evidence from his house.

Apologies in advance, but I am going crazy trying to find where it was stated that one of the friends saved four parking space right next to each other. Am I crazy? I'm sure I read that. Was it an interview or was it something on here? Can you please link it if you find it?? I've been searching, but to no avail. TIA

Sorry if stated before(catching up again) but it was on Jonni's interview with Beth Caras(sp?).

Thank heavens! I thought I was losing it! Thank you!!
So here is my question: How do you save four parking spots right next to each other a the Shops on a Friday night at 11:30ish?? That seems weird. Does the first person jump out of their car and then stand in the other three spots? It is a little odd that there were four spots right next to each other to begin with. The Shops are pretty busy at that time of night. I guess we can figure that the four drivers at that time were CM, EA, SN, and SB since we know that Christina's car and Arochi's car were still there, SB drover her car to Whataburger, and we have to guess that SN drove Christina either to Whataburger or at least to PP's apartment.

I am curious about the other people from the party before the bar hopping. Weren't there 8-10 to start with? Where did they park? Were they not part of this caravan that went to the bars?
Is it still correct that they went to Henry's first (around 11:30ish) then went to Scruffy Duffies (around 12:30ish)? The others should ahve parked nearby as well, right?

Exactly, perfection!

...and the odor also "clings" to you.. I would come home from work, smelling like that stuff.. yech!

If someone cleaned after it with "regular" cleaning products (whatever was typically used) - immediately, later that day, or the next day - or heck, multiple times - would it cover up the smell?

Or would it take quite some time?

I'm just wonder if it could have been a 'first line' clean up product, a more thorough one, but then not noticed by other occupants or anything if something else that was familiar smell wise was essentially "laid" over it. Thus not making the other as easily detected maybe?

Or even coverable enough in a few hours or days that it at least might cut it enough that someone might just think it was a slightly different variation of the normal cleaning products?

What are things you don't want to touch when you have cleaning products on your hands?
What are things you've accidentally touched when you've momentarily forgotten that you have cleaning products on your hands?

eyes?

Getting his DNA would be as simple as getting Christina's from her DP can. They only needed to observe him placing a cup, straw, or can in the garbage in public and then take it to the lab. Easy to do without a warrant. I did not say I saw it anywhere, but they were diving in his trash for weeks before.

Well we know thats how they got christina's because they state it in the warrant. The other ways you mention are your opinion which you are entitled to but no need to attack me stating you dont understand how people think they didnt already have EA's DNA when I am going by what the warrant clearly states about how and where they collected his DNA

  • #996
I apologize to anyone who felt I "attacked" them as it certainly was not my intention. I was only saying I honestly believe LE would not have waited until all the other DNA tests were done before getting his...even if the warrant asks for it. The warrant maybe covers them for later in the case, but surely they found a way before then to compare his with the evidence they had collected previously. It is definitely my opinion on it at least.

Don't think they can use it as evidence in court if they didn't get a warrant for his dnA. Jmo

As long as it doesn't break the chain of custody...I believe it would be admissible. It is legal to take his trash including his DNA from it.

Exactly!
And its his car so they know his DNA would be in there.
