Overdose sounds unlikely as I do believe she is the person on the video. If they decided to go that route, i.e fake her walking there, I think they would have had "her" get into the car and drive it somewhere else. And then they would have to dispose of a body from an apartment complex very close to other buildings, etc with cameras likely to be anywhere. That is a little too over the top for me.

Imo if cameras turn out to be useless, as it appears so far, it comes down to confessions, or possibly cell/data tracking of other parties. LE can ask anyone for their phones and make notes on who says no. And then maybe dig up something else in order to qualify for warrants. All of that can take some time. Also checking cameras in nearby gas stations, convenience stores, etc can take time. But maybe they will get lucky and spot someone who said they were not in the area.

Also those with access to Texas arrest logs and familiarity with some of the names involved should keep an eye out, as very often LE will arrest someone they suspect on some completely unrelated charge or open warrant in order to have a go at them.

Worst case scenario is that no one is standing out as a likely suspect.

Jmo I have never seen TES hang around more than a few days, maybe a week at most. They get in and out pretty quickly. I remember in Katelyn Markham's case (I think) they had said they would come back in the spring but not sure if they ever did. Anyway she was found much later by a random person in an area that was far outside the search areas. They really require some solid info to do searches, i.e person last seen in a lake or in a wooded area. I am kind of surprised they even agreed to try a search where the victim was most likely taken away in a vehicle. But all jmo.

I should have guessed-- freakin' fourth ammendment, wreaking havoc again!

And for more shenanigans, check out this: (especially the second section about Constitutional law/stare decisis)

I love those laws.

Egads. Not me! They drive me bonkers with their flippy floppy counter-intuitivism. I like things to be direct. And consistent. And reliable!

Map of the walk below (thanks OkieGranny) - route is as per google suggestion. (probably walked in where the purse is above the 'B' flag.)

PLUS
Streetview at the entrance the couple walked through.

Doesn't the apartment she was at have parking? Wondering why she didn't drive her car over to the apartment unless she had been drinking and wasn't up to driving. Has the friend she was walking to the garage with been identified in MSM? If not, help me out a little. TIA

I really hate to post this but it seems our greatest resource for locating the missing has been hunters. The area they searched and all the area around the shops is not a place that anyone would be hunting regretably. So they need to find her now. jmo

You are on a great roll, with these thoughts,!

the hotel question is very intriguing...

I have read (in other WS
Cases) where suicides are often committed in hotel/motel rooms...

But... Now come to think of it... It would seem there would be surveillance cam footage of CM entering a hotel/motel... Wouldn't there....?

:sigh:

You need ID.
There is maid service.
She would have been found.

Thanks Clue! :) I was actually referencing the Marriott and other hotels in the area in terms of "guests", maybe a perp traveling during the holiday weekend or on business in the area, since the Marriott is right there, maybe he was staying there and came back to his hotel in the wee hours of the morning (pure brainstorming).

BBM:

Right and if you read enough of the articles you can get his name there out there. Sure wish he would have walked her to her darn car but my guess is all that were close have to feel horrible if they were not involved. I have my thoughts and I'm trying to stay positive but each day with no discovery and no new updates it seems to feel it's getting colder and colder. Praying there is a lot being held back for good reason and time will tell and she'll be home safe and sound. Christina you are loved - keep your strength up! You're family is not giving up on you.

Re: the question asked up thread about who lives in / the possible significance of Allen, TX, this is the post I was referencing.

Two things before I hit the sack .. One (now this is only my opinion) but with them suspending the search I really and honestly truly believe we are going to get some type of answers.. Maybe a warrant or arrest or a a POI.. But I have faith we will have those answers soon.

Two. This is weird. I have no idea why they have the occurrence happening on Sept 1st .. Not saying that's when it happened, I am asking if this was reported then? I thought on the 30th she went missing and the 2nd is when they reported her missing right? Not sure, can anyone explain this to me? image.jpg

Also I believe this is hers. Guess it's always a possibility it was another missing person case but that's the only one I seen for the that week. Just curious about the sept 1st, I might have my dates confused though.

(In addition to Adrienne Salinas, Christina's case also has a "Brittanee Drexel" vibe to me, imo.)

bbm: me too. gray oversized tee and blacks shorts or the above?

It certainly didn't appear to be an oversized tee in the parking garage video unless the bottom of the tee was underneath her skirt, IMO. Also, would she have kept on the shorts underneath her skirt? None of it makes sense.

If you look right at the very beginning of the video, you can see whatever CM has in her hands over her left shoulder and the guy looks at it briefly. It is either a cell or a tablet.

I believe either they called off search because they are convinced or have proof she's not anywhere in the area or like others say about to make an arrest possibly and hoping it will yield answers. Although if neither are true and they have no clue and it is possibly an abduction from out of tower on the prowl which I've thought as a possible lead all along then I sure hope they considered or made the large Nebraska furniture mart construction area as a place to search. It's a massive area, lots of new parking garages and limited traffic from the general public. The workers/personnel out there onsite everyday can't be or see every single area of this land daily I'm sure because it's massive and lots of loose dirt that could he used and if someone/worker onsite was perp then they can or could have kept watch over area ensuring others stayed away or distracted them from area. I certainly pray they got a tip she's somewhere else. I know the family has to have hope but if they are in the dark like all of us, deep down this had to be excruciating painful. I was devastated to hear they stopped but also relived thinking we were going to get update saying they located her alive. Sigh! Praying for you Christina! Please come home. Whoever has her or wherever you, please let her go already!

The family does not have the phone- and the carrier has ownership of records, which even the family cannot get without a warrant.

BBM:

I thought it was said that CM's cell was still on the family plan. If it was, then the person who pays the bill would have access to it, IMO. How else could CM's Mom have known her last 15 calls were to her boyfriend?

*I do have to concede that the Mom and LE might have learned the last calls CM made was to her boyfriend by looking at the boyfriend's cell with his permission. Then maybe the last call coincided with the last minute she was on the video. Just a thought.

I don't understand the 4 day time frame either. If it wasn't for her boss phoning her friend to say she hadn't shown up for work for 2 days, god knows how much longer it could have been before she was eventually reported missing!

I still just can't understand how her family, friends & boyfriend didn't worry or think something was wrong after not hearing from her AT ALL for 4 days! In my opinion, 4 days is a long time to not be in contact with anybody at all.

It's also unusual that her friend was the emergency contact rather than a parent.

Actions speak louder than words. His body language and his lack of any grieving emotions speak more than what he says or how he's saying.

If he was cheating on her, and/or thinking of ending the relationship, it could make him feel guilty and maybe that's why he comes across differently than some would expect. I haven't watched the videos yet, so I don't have an opinion...just throwing that out there.
