I keep wondering if she called someone to pick her up / meet her....the cell records would show this. It seems only the calls to bf have been mentioned right?

If she was upset (repeatedly calling her boyfriend, aspect of cheating, etc.) this makes her an even more vulnerable victim in my opinion, just like Adrienne Salinas. Not only was she glued to her phone and less aware of her surroundings, but she could have been upset, intoxicated, not thinking straight, a weaker, more vulnerable potential victim in the eyes of a predator.

Another thought, I wonder if she remained in the car/near the car after she was supposedly parted ways with the guy who walked her out? Maybe on the phone, or trying to figure out where she wanted to go next, etc...

BBM:
It is always a possibility. Even if the chances are slim to none until we can narrow down the field it is wide open to include stranger abduction. The stats and studies require the one now and again. ;)

I do lean more toward it being someone she knows with all of the circumstances we have been given surrounding this case, but being in a public parking garage lends itself to a stranger and a crime of opportunity.

Thank you, "Crime of opportunity"; That's the phrase I was looking for.

Let's review some cases for comparison. Refresh my memory, websluthers!

Victim knew the perp beforehand:

-Holly Bobo
-Jessica Lundsford
-Elizabeth Smart
-Hailey Dunn
-Haleigh Cummings
-Victims of Albert Fish
-Victims of H.H. Holmes
-Victims of Ed Gein

Random/Stranger:

-Ben Owenby - Shawn Hornbeck
-Kelsey Smith
-Jaycee Dugard
-Amanda Berry - Gina DeJesus - Michelle Knight

Those are a just few, I know you all have so many examples ... please share and compare!
Mickey Shunick. Abducted by a stranger while riding her bicycle home at night.

For the record, just because LE says they have no suspects or POI's, that doesn't mean this is true. Look at Mark Redwine in Dylan's case...he's still walking around free. I'm pretty sure they "suspect" him...jmo

Maybe they're just waiting for something to break. Maybe it is someone known to her...I agree this is highly highly highly likely, obviously, duh, but the mechanics/logistics of the whole thing are just odd to me.

Look at Kyron Harmon. I don't think there is any dought in anyone's mind about who did it, but the last person to be with him is still free.

lol...

Is there ANYONE on this board who thinks a random abduction is a possibility here? It seems I'm the only one. Wondering if my hinky meter is broken, lol.

Katie Poirier ... that one is seared in my memory. Nice list luvmua.

I agree, a very good list!
Let's not forget Morgan Harrington - one of the first cases I followed on WS.
And yeah, I think a random abduction is possible.

Yes, who could forget that one? And just a few hours from where I live. The details of that case are particularly chilling. :(

I think of Morgan all the time. So hard to believe there is still no information in her case. :(

I'm from Louisiana and moved recently to North of Dallas. I followed her case and watched that video a bazillion times.

I'm 99% sure Sierra Lamar didn't know her abductor, so she can be added to the list as well.

Wondering out loud if they focused in on Allen, TX so quickly because of phone pings.

And maybe bc the person who might have walked her out might live in Allen.

Nickerson lives in Plano. Is he not the one that walked her out?

LE should have a press conference and release at least some information or this case could quickly go cold. At least let the public know if the vehicles seen leaving the garage around the same time of night have been identified and the owners interviewed. If they haven't been identified, why not release the images, even if they are blurry - it might jog someone's memory.

I think Christina must have left in a vehicle. It makes no sense that a random perp would have abducted her on foot - how would he get her out of there without being seen? The only other thing I can think of is that someone who worked at or near the garage, abducted her and took her to a cubicle or nearby office (or possibly stairwell, but that would be very risky) and removed her at a later time. Unfortunately, they would have had days to remove any evidence.

They have cars, too. Don't take every word so literal.

Also, agreed, we need a PC!

Not that I think, I could be wrong.
On SM, the guy who "supposedly" walked her out is E.A.
(considered rumor)
