Except that, they are not trying for Kidnapping, they are trying for Aggravated Kidnapping. And, they used point 4 of Aggravated Kidnapping as the basis for the arrest warrant.

Detective today said they have no evidence of point 4. So, don't be shocked if the bail is reduced.

1 Detective did NOT say they have no evidence of pt 4. Review your notes and the elements of the crime.
2 The fact they arrested for AK does NOT put them in some sort of legal box. In the legal procedure, when they indict for AK, they will also have "lesser included" charges (and in this case, probably quite a few), all of which are crimes and for which the accused may be convicted. Kidnapping is absolutely a crime, whether aggravated or not.
...Side point: I think they are going to "run up the score" when it comes to indictments, and ask for convictions on everything they can specify, to make sure he gets locked away forever, no matter what.
3 IMO The pivot point is that EA took her, put her in his trunk, and she has never been seen again. Based on that, combined with the fact that everything he's said about it has been lies on top of lies, I'm not going to assume the court will look favorably on him to let him roam the streets, but we'll see what they say.

ETA - I see, now that I've caught up, that the bond was not reduced. Not surprising at all. EA put her IN HIS TRUNK, and lied his off to LE trying to find her (and the judge is not stupid LOL or distracted by relative minutia).

EAs phone was texting to HF asking about drugs in close proximity to a point in time when Christina was know to have used it to leave a voice mail on HFs phone LE officer testified its is unknown who sent the txt.

I think they are trying to make QF's point, which is that PPD is charging him with the wrong thing.

Do you think his own defence team thinks he's guilty of murder? I'm still not sure if I understand the tweet

What she said is the defense attorney said, detectives said its is capital murder. Not that the defense attorney believes this. Sometimes commas help.

they can't offically test it until the legally obtain it which they did not until December 13th or shortly there after and the first time it took nearly two months and this is near the holidays.

If PPD thought HF was involved (I'm taking from your post that you think he was) is there a reason that they wouldn't have charged him? What advantage might there be to LE to delay with charges?

I still don't see HF as being involved but I want to make sure I haven't missed anything that might be throwing me off track

everything we know in the case is stuff we have been told. I have not heard JMcE say anything that later turned out the be not true especially since this is something she said she heard herself.

Of course, the defense attorney would think they shouldn't charge him at all, but I believe the statement was about the subpoena duces tecum. The defense attorney was trying to give reason to make them produce. Judge shot it down.

They have two samples of DNA from the Camaro (one has been proven to be Christina's (Sample 1), the other an unidentified male(Sample 2))

They got Christina's actual DNA(Sample 3) from a DP can in her car.

They got Enrique's DNA (Sample 4) via subpoena on 12/13.

They have compared Sample 1 and Sample 3 = Match

They had to send Sample 4 off for analysis and then will have to compare it to Sample 2 (acquired at the time they had his camaro for 11 days). That could take a couple of months.
