Sorry if my mind is straying, info overload! So the "unknown male dna" could be EA's, we just don't know yet. And what could it mean Christina's dna "mixed with" (does that mean her dna mixed w/possibly EA's?? - if so, ewwwww). And ps..kudos to this judge! Get 'em Texas!

If it was taken from the Camaro at the same time as Christina's, why would HIS not have been tested yet?

His DNA was collected after his arrest. There is a subpoena for it that was released along with the arrest warrant. You cannot collect his DNA from the car as the source....but you can get his from a swab and then compare what is found in the car to confirm or exclude him.

they can't offically test it until the legally obtain it which they did not until December 13th or shortly there after and the first time it took nearly two months and this is near the holidays.

Thanks, am I the only one who finds it almost unbelievable that it takes that long?

I just googled home dna testing and it seems you can get the results is less than a week

I don't like to criticise PPD but if this is the case I'd say they've dropped the ball on that one. Does anyone know how long a DNA test takes to process?

JMO
AGREE! I thought once it became criminal it would speed things up :gah:

I think PPD stated that the lab gives priority to cases based on the charge. At the time it was "simply" a missing person case so it took longer. Hopefully the AK charge will move them up in the queue.

Thank you. I understand all that.
I am just confused as to why it has taken this long to confirm or exclude him. That's all.

everything we know in the case is stuff we have been told. I have not heard JMcE say anything that later turned out the be not true especially since this is something she said she heard herself.
I am sorry, but that is incorrect. There are many things she has stated which have turned out not to be true. One is her adamant statement of HF being at home asleep.

But if they took his DNA on 13 December it was no longer a missing person case, should it not have been moved to the top of the queue right then?

JMO! But I tend to agree with Cookie. Throughout today I took notes and there were quite a few inconsistencies in what I have read on here and what we learned from the tweets today. I previously brought one up and it didn't go over too well, so I don't dare go down that path again. cMs mom to my knowledge is not on here, but I haven't heard her say anything about listening to the call. but, I miss everything due to a lot of personal stuff so I may have missed that too. I learned today, that a lot of what I thought I knew wasn't correct.

Maybe LE either gave her false info or asked her to say some of the things she said to protect their drug investigation.

In her situation I wouldn't be surprised if she said anything that she thought would help find Christina, I don't blame her if that's what has happened

140 characters can make things a bit confusing. She tweeted this to clarify:

Defense said they believe the detectives think this will be a capital murder case #ChristinaMorris #EnriqueArochi

I think they are trying to make QF's point, which is that PPD is charging him with the wrong thing.

Guess they think alike. Good stuff, Catpatrol. Thanks for keeping it going.... God bless you, Christina.

So I'm thinking because HF didn't answer the text from EA, that's why he said if he had been there, this wouldn't have happened. He knew but ignored the text, and I personally think it's because he didn't want to bother with such a small amount for just EA after he had such a big night. So now EA is mad as hell at both of them...

Lab report indicates DNA from #EnriqueArochi trunk was mixture of #ChristinaMorris DNA & at least one other person; his DNA not yet tested

As of today? EA's DNA is unknown and has not been tested?
This, I do not believe.

Would you mind sharing some of the inconsistencies, it might help us to brainstorm some of them.

Very true! LE couldn't tell her what they knew about the sting operation going on with HF. They have been very careful, as they should be.

Since it's male DNA,perhaps it's sperm. (which would also support the SA motive)

Yes, I believe that's what the detective said under oath today.

i feel certain they already know its EA they just don't have a legally obtained sample to compare it to so that is not a rush. It's not the testing that takes the time its the volume of work the lab has.

Really? That's not true.
