Good point! I never actually thought of that, but if so, it might surely suggest he had done this sort of thing before.

Good point. There may also be dna from EA that supports SA; either way, SA was the intent, even if he just caused her great bodily harm, it's AK. Right, Steve?

Has this been stated by LE? I do not think at this point they have approached intent, have they suggested SA? I think the male DNA mixed with CM's is also blood from his hand/injuries. I know SA is usually the motivating factor in similar scenarios, but I just don't recall any evidence that actually suggests that in this case.

I find it highly unlikely EA had a rape kit/kill kit of any kind as he was not organized, imo. He has shown he is extremely lucky, but definitely not organized.

I have a roadside emergency kit that contains items that are or could be utilized as all of the above. (Except the condom, but isn't that what men's wallets are for?)

I can't wait to hear what they have on EA. I was watching another case recently that occurred in Lewisville Tx and although they did find the body, everyone involved were pointing fingers as to who did it. So instead of filing homicide charges, the detectives opted to go with AK charges (which held the same sentence according to LE). The main players, one got life the other 99 yrs.

I think for some people who aren't native to Tx may have a hard time understanding how severe the punishments are in this state. Executions happen weekly, public record, and there are a lot of people who are wasting away right now in Huntsville Tx doing life sentences for things that you and I have done in a drug/alcohol endured stopper or just psychotic immature moment that went undocumented. Texas is a very conservative state and lawmakers and politicians have a "good ol' boy" mentality. There's not much leeway or social acceptance to what the "norms" are. Another unfortunate problem that EA has against him is that he's not American, nor is he Caucasian, while CM is both. These (IMO) are severe severe unspoken handicaps to his defense. I personally do not believe it's fair, but as someone who follows various cases and I am a local to Tx, I'm just explaining why it (may) appear to some to be less serious evidence presented or doubtful that these charges, or his punishment will stick.
Personally, I feel sorry for his family. Especially since the way they will forever be viewed (and treated) while in this state, yet they can't leave or go very far since he will be living in Huntsville for probably the rest of their lives.

There were only 10 executions in Texas in 2014.

I am just asking - during your roadside emergency, what use would you have for a gag? for duct tape? rope? latex gloves? I just can't see confusing a rape kit for an emergency kit.

A gag could be a bandana, which we use here in Texas as handkerchiefs, head wraps, etc. Duct tape is used in EVERYTHING. I would use gloves so as not to get any oil or grease on my hands. In fact, I use gloves all the time for cooking (jalapenos) and cleaning (boys bathroom YUCK). A rope could be used to tow another car. Lemme guess, you're from up north.

I agree the sexual assault motive is a problem. It sounds good I guess but unless there is some concrete evidence of sexual assault (iirc LE might have stated early on, "if you knew what we have, you'd understand" - something like that), the explanation is simply a guess imo.

People will probably reply that LE doesn't have to prove motive.
Still, jurors like to understand what led to a crime imo.

If images of CM taken beyond 4:00 a.m. become a reality, EA must have an empty head.

Having said that, Kelly Dwyer is missing from Milwaukee.
The suspect kept icky images of her on his phone, as well as other dangerous images of sex acts. They were discovered by LE when they searched his apartment after they obtained a warrant. LE didn't show up by surprise immediately either.
He left drugs in his freezer and in his night stand drawer as if it were just another day. Considering he was and remains the prime suspect in her disappearance, it is hard to understand the cavalier attitude he displayed throughout the investigation.
Kris Zocco is his name and he's been sentenced to just over 19 years on 16 counts of child pornography. He won't reveal Kelly's location either.

Truthfully, I typically don't follow criminal cases that much, other than this one. When this case is done, I expect my life will return to some form of normalcy..lol. I will be concentrating more on my home life, along with my rock 'n roll band.. :guitar:
