I am afraid my comments might be a bit disappointing. I have always wondered why Jonni claimed after that one time in court, it was back in Jan or Feb, that she emerged in tears and said that the police were convinced that Christina was not alive. Now, I do know from experience that tears can come very easily during both stress and relief. Having a missing child is like riding the most merciless rollercoaster. Sometimes you don't know when to get off and take a rest. Sometimes, you can be just shattered by other people's assumptions: Your child is dead; no, your child is alive; no, we really don't know. And mixed into all that can be: Your child is an angel; child is a drug addict; you child voluntarily disappeared. It is a really tough ride! I just wish LE would be clearer with families, but I think the truth is that they don't trust us, and we don't trust them.

I so want to believe that Christina is alive. She ought to be. Nothing she chose in her life can possibly merit her this victims status.

I think zippxx that you make some of the best comments because you stick to the facts and to what you know. Most of us are just marking time, waiting for the trial, hoping for justice.

Zippixx has posted the description in statute 20.04, which is what EA has been charged with, and what LE believes the evidence shows happened here. In general terms, CM was kidnapped, per the evidence.

Sure seems like Aggravated Kidnapping covers a lot .
This is why it is so confusing to me.

Someone called 911 just after midnight Thursday after spotting the body in a wooded area on Lakeview Drive at Iowa Avenue, near the Dallas Zoo.

No signs of trauma, but homicide detectives were called. Could be intentional OD.

I'm not sure if this is bad reporting or someone in LE without their brain plugged in. I guess they should pick a legal dumping area... I'm Sorry but I try to fend off disgust and depression with attempted or inappropriate humor.

I get where you're coming from... It just leaves you wondering was somebody illegally dumping garbage and saw the body of the young woman. It is depressing as H#&& plus this makes me think serial killer, especially if the body was staged. To discard a human being, or even an animal as a piece of garbage, makes me think whoever did this is a !

Pardon me! I meant to say whomever did this I KNOW is a !

It was an attempt at humor. It's illegal to kill someone and illegal to dump their body, therefore an illegal dumpsite.... uh nevermind. I got you Papparod.

Respectfully, a "dump site" is what it is, simply a description of a site's ongoing and normal use. No question that it's unseemly when someone is killed and left anywhere, but I guess I don't have an issue with being told by media and police about the location selected. I'm glad to know, rather than have to speculate about why that site might have been used. Info is good imo.
