Look, I totally get that EA is obviously guilty of this crime. However, to say there's no evidence of others being involved just makes my brain explode. I cannot comprehend how we can just dismiss the "good rock" text. A text that was sent to HF from EA's phone just minutes prior to her disappearance. MINUTES prior. To me, that is reasonable doubt. Yes, her DNA was in the trunk and so again, obviously EA is guilty. I just don't understand what it hurts for us to look at all reasonable theories without being shut down. MOO
Respectfully, I think your analysis is way out in left field on this.
While that text says some words, what some seem to ignore is what it
doesn't say, and the things it
implies beyond the actual words. And if we look closely, it's a text that ends up irrelevant to the crime.
Maybe EA was a druggie wanting a fix. Maybe not. But the crime is that he put her IN HIS TRUNK (that's your kidnapping, since she wouldn't have been put in there willingly, or for her welfare) and she's never been seen or heard from again.
A desire for a fix, if that's what we had in this text, isn't an alibi or doubt of what the DNA says.
Keep in mind, the crime was an abduction. Maybe a murder. Not a crime of getting some drugs.
So what does that text actually say? It tells us that someone (most likely EA, but maybe CM) "needed" something, that's probably drugs.
But it also tells us by implication
- HF was
not there (so it doesn't add some boogeyman to the location)
- EA and/or CM did NOT have the desired "rock" with them (the opposite of what many are saying)
And we have to notice it says nothing about
- who was sending it
- a location it was being sent from
- an abduction
- a murder
- anything happening to involve the recipient
- if the recipient even saw the text
So maybe it says that EA wanted some drugs some day. But that wouldn't mean he couldn't/didn't abduct and/or kill Christina 5 minutes later, and it doesn't even provide another person on the scene. In total, it doesn't come close to creating another scenario, another person, an excuse, an alibi. Or, of course, "reasonable doubt" that EA put her IN HIS TRUNK soon thereafter. IMO.
