Regarding Tilley's quote about if we knew what the evidence was, we'd understand and that's why they're not releasing info; was that before or after we learned of the evidence IN THE TRUNK? I can't seem to find his original quote. TIA

MOO

Funny!
My page showed an ad of arms stretched out sideways.
One of the arms has a dotted line showing how extra skin can be cut off.:thinking:

IIRC before:
"The DNA evidence and the details that surround that... if we were able to release that, you would understand it more," said Plano police spokesman David Tilley. "Unfortunately, we're unable to release that." "

Thank you both. So it was before the DNA IN THE TRUNK evidence was released. That makes sense.

Is a female the "other person"?
Do you know if she was found and arrested too?
Iirc it was believed she was on the run at the time the others were arrested.
I don't know if that is true or not.

Yes, it's the female. I can't find if she was ever arrested, but she has 2 counts where he only has the one. Am I readig that correctly?

I don't think I would go as far as to say I feel I'm being told what to post, but I will say when I do post something or I see others post something, it is quickly met with almost condescending responses. And yes, I understand that is my problem in how I perceive things, but it's obvious I'm not the only one.

Until someone has been convicted of murder and/or AK, AND until she is found, I will cotinue to speculate.

If I had never learned of the "good rock" text minutes prior to her disappearance, I'd probably be right there with ya and have less people on ignore.

Just jumping off here MIKA - not directed at you.

Stand your ground. No one should feel unwelcome because of a post or their point of view, or if it doesn't seem to flow with status quo of the current thread bosses. Yes there are thread bosses - no they have no power, LOL, they are just bossy. Usually that is when there are few other leads or directions to explore and critical thinkers have moved on. I don't see that here.

Here In Christina's thread, though, There are still things to explore, IMO. The idea of things to explore doesn't necessarily mean abstract, disconnected, fictional Imagineering. I mean deeper theories grounded in the facts of the case.
We're still doing it IMO. It may not sit well for some. That needs to be OK.

The only hard facts in evidence, so far, are the ones that comprise the bare minimum for LE to get warrants. The rest of what they have is the hand they will play at trial and if more charges are brought later.
I was never so happy as when I sat quietly while Nathaniel Kibby was charged with only kidnapping in NH which only carried a sentence of 7 years. While everyone out in public was outraged, I thought "wait". Ultimately he was indicted on 205 charges.

I have said it before, maybe in different words; Say what you think. If someone starts shouting in caps about something we all know, then that's them not you. Say what you think, but know that it's not personal. It's about Christina Marie.

Honestly I have not seen any disrespect, or condescension . Some posts can be taken that way, sure. But I have not seen one poster who wants another member to feel badly at all. Nope.

I like the topics like the "rock", "the trunk", "the car damage" , "the garage timeline", "EA's injuries", "distances from the shops." And "why was one certain person, not a POI, texting her before she got to her car and why has no one mentioned him". Those kind of things.

Oh,and where can Christina be based on what we know.

IMO, HO, HO, HO, - SCROLL N' ROLL.

o/t ~ My computer is acting up.
The ads within the posts are distracting and I don't appreciate them showing up within the posts.
My arms aren't that bad! I use little weights and do arm exercises!
And, even if they looked that bad, I wouldn't want to be reminded while posting on WS!

I originally thought he was referring to the mixed -unknown male DNA?

Officer Tilley made it sound as if they found a finger or toe or something. Geesh.
If nothing significant comes up to substantiate his comment during the trial, I'm going to have a fit.

Or, is it ~
If nothing significant comes up during the trial to substantiate his comment, . . .?

I make the same mistakes I always made going way back - not sure why that is so.

Wonderfully put, Steleheart!

I admit, I do take things personally here. I know we're all here for Christina. I do truly believe the heavy rains we've had might help. I think there needs to be some repeat searches in areas of interest to LE.

I'm thinking it's the DNA in the trunk he was referring to. I mean how can anyone explain DNA in a trunk without a nefarious reason? MOO

Thoughts on how EA got her in the trunk so fast? Blow to the head? Does anyone think he had a weapon or this was possibly premeditated?

Premeditated from before the party? During the party? During the walk? Is looking for opportunities the same as premeditation? The problem I see with premeditated is that how could he know that he would have this particular opportunity alone with her? How could he know someone else would not also tag along?

I don't see a thanks button anymore. Do y'all have one?

I'm thinking if I was conscious I would pop the hood, but keep it from going up all the way to keep from lighting up the "trunk open" light. Then when the car was stopped I would jump out. If he drove a long way w/o stopping and then finally stopped I would wait to hear him walking to the back of the car and then jump out hopefully hitting him with the trunk door. I would use anything I could find in the trunk to hit him with, like maybe a tire iron. I'm sure Christina would have thought of all these things if she had been conscious and able to pull the lever.

Respectfully Snipped By Me and Respectfully Bolded By Me.

Boots forgive me. It's late here in Massachusetts, but I just don't understand;
If you were conscious how would you pop both the hood And the trunk??
Did Christina actually know there was a release for both in the trunk compartment?
What lever? We touched on this but did we find there was "in fact" a lever she would have known?

Are we, again using a theory as fact?

Psst, I don't think it was premeditated. I'm just trying to get some conversation going to loosen some noggins. :)

Time to go (everything is going wrong with posting, tried to quote and thanks won't work).
Before I do, I thought Tilley's remark about if we knew what LE found, was made after the DNA in the trunk was public knowledge.
Can't figure it out now but that's why his remark was strange to me.

I totally agree. I have no idea though why they would insist she left in his trunk.

What are your thoughts as to why she got in willingly?

IMO (back to the damn keys) I think he offered to take her back to the apartment to get her keys since it was such a long walk. MOOOOOO

Hello all! I'm new here.. but live in the area. I also agree, she must have gotten in the car because she trusted him. No other reason.. I also think EA offered her a ride to get her dog or to party more.. He was her high school peer... so I do believe she thought he wasn't a real threat..
