Imo, LE can't just search blindly in such an enormous area. They need to have pings or something to go off. EA had so much time before it was even known Christina was missing. While I believe he disposed of her body within hours of taking her, it is possible he did not, or that he has since moved her. She could be anywhere. Jmo

I don't believe EA would have moved her. Moving a deceased person after 3-4 days is a gruesome task and few would have the stomach for it. I believe it happened not long after she was last seen on the video and the actual spot may be near the actual murder site. Besides, he was LE's radar not long after she was reported missing.

Time and again we hear where a hunter, a hiker or someone walking their dog has come across remains and in an area that was already searched. Paige Birgfeld of CO is one example. I think she's out there not far away and it is just a matter of time before someone comes across her.

ITA - it just doesn't make sense to me that a murderer would risk returning to the body, as every day passes it gets closer to the time the victim will be reported missing. As I see it EA must have been puzzled for the whole 3-4 days about why he wasn't hearing anything about Christina not returning home, not going to her job, no friends asking him if she got to her car OK.

I saw a news report last week about a body being discovered after 21 years of being missing, I think it might have been in Florida, imagine that.

1. Publishing a map could indeed help locate her because of so many areas of private property to be searched. It would allow the landowners to know if they could assist by checking their own area in an effort to find this woman and give others a chance to inform the landowners if they are unaware.

I highly resent this statement: "It's just a curiosity thing for those playing along at home." People have no idea what others do here. Because you may be one of those certainly does not mean the rest of us are.

2. The HIGHEST priority is to find the victim, Christina Morris! There is no reason to think after the arrest, charges being filed, and EA being held for this long to suspect they do not have enough evidence to prove at least some guilt in the Agg. Kidnapping. They want and need desperately to find their victim to prove beyond any doubt she was taken in a kidnapping and murdered. Period. Again, the trial and case against EA is NOT the reason they do not release the areas of search. I am not going to go into every reason, but it is fairly standard across the board with LE not to broadcast it.

3. If the family has LE's search map then why don't they release it? They have done things their own way and this would be something quite productive to move toward finding Christina since LE won't do it.

4. Muddies what waters?! This makes no sense. Bird in the hand...seriously?! The absolute BEST way to keep EA locked up for certain (or to move the case into the death penalty box) is to find her body. No ifs, ands, or buts...

FIND CHRISTINA MORRIS AND CHARGE HIM WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER!! <<<THIS is their agenda!!

BBM- What about the AK charge that that is currently going to go to trial in Nov? IMO- I do think they are trying to find ways to charge him for murder without CM's body...at least I really hope they are. I would agree that first thing's first: put him away since (they believe, as well as I) that he did, in fact, kidnap her. I hope beyond all hope that they find her. After this long, she still have not been found. This case isn't perfect for LE (no CM), but they do have enough to go forward with the AK trial and I think they are going to make sure he gets the max.

Respectfully to all & IMO, there are valid reasons LE/PPD have not released search areas. They are highly trained professionals & I'm not going to play "arm-chair" detective & second-guess them. Personally, I would not think it's wise to disclose search areas. What if they missed her & EA knew that? Then it's certain he will never speak. I prefer him to be "nervous".
I would imagine that right now, their #1 priority is convicting EA on the AK charge (with the facts & evidence they currently have). There is the realistic possibility that she may never be found. I'm just not sure if LE is willing to invest countless hours of manpower, time & money looking for a needle in a mountain. If CM happens to be found.. icing on the cake... & then they can pursue a possible murder charge at that time. (JMO - IMO - MOO)

BBM- Not that is would necessarily apply to this case, but has LE ever released search areas? I'm curious. I just didn't think it was even an option. Do I want them too? Of course, for my own curiosity.

I have no idea if various LE agencies release search area information. IMO, I doubt it... seems like it might compromise an active investigation. In all honesty, even as much as I have followed this particular case, I'm not really interested in areas that have been searched..

However, if CM is ever found, of course I would be curious as to where.
I feel bad for the family every day, particularly MM. He seems like a good guy (not that the rest of the family isn't). When I see the pictures of him with Christina as a child, that joy of fatherhood, it is a reminder how quickly the best parts of our lives can end.

Another factor in keeping search areas private is that if the perp isn't in jail or if the perp has help, the remains could be moved to an area already searched.

I want to touch on something about how much the police might know. I watched one of my shows, can't remember if it was forensic files or what. But anyway, the police took his car to search, for a short time first, just like in EA'S case. They only had it for a minute and hid a GPS tracking thingy. They caught him going to two different places, etc, so they go to those areas and find the body of the child he killed. So we just never know what they may have.

Bumping for Christina. Praying that Christina will be found soon.

I havent followed this case too closely but I have read it from time to time and I hope she is found soon too.

Slightly OT but below was a story about a 132 year old Winchester rifle that was found recently just leaning up against a tree.
It goes to show that some things take a long time to be found. This story was just amazing to me about the rifle.

Even though remote, just imagine how many people may have passed real close by that rifle and never noticed it leaning against the tree.

ETA: There are some other articles and some people think the gun may have been placed there as some sort of hoax because it makes such an incredible story. It will be interesting if they can prove it was a real find.

I imagine they do that more than we think. To the north of us we have the case of Samantha Clarke who went missing after getting a call from Randy Taylor. LE put a tracker on his vehicle and that time it didn't go so well. While getting his car serviced, RT found it and LE did not have a warrant. Then a couple of years later Alexis Murphy is missing and he is convicted for it. Would have been great if LE found Samantha Clarke and saved Alexis Murphy. But the only reason we found out about it is because it didn't work out and it made the papers. I wonder how many times LE has used GPS tracking and we don't know about it.

I believe that you are just thinking out loud, but personally, I hope that the day comes soon when LE follows the same rule of law that they vow to uphold. Open carry goes a long way to keep criminals and cops honest, IMO.

I from the area but moved last summer just days before Christina disappeared. I'm back for summer holiday and would love to do something physical other than sit here at my computer reading about her. I want to FIND her, I want to HELP someone find her.

I never, ever (EVER) thought she'd be missing this long, it's both heartbreaking and frustrating to still wonder what happened.

What can I do??

I believe there are still organized searches every Saturday. Check with the "Help Find Christina Morris" Facebook page, to be sure. They were meeting every Saturday at Allen High School (9:00 am)....

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll check the page.
Today, I drove down 121 and saw the new Nebraska Furniture store, I remembered shortly after Christina went missing someone suggested construction sites as a hiding place. I thought about Christina all the way to my destination, there are so many places she could be. How could she be hidden so well?

Trial announcement for #EnriqueArochi phone theft July 9. Jury trail set for 8:30a July 13.
4:16pm - 10 Jun 15

Brittany with The Plano Star Courier tweeted this today. This is the gold Samsung he "allegedly" stole from his job at Sprint and probably was using the night Christina disappeared. And if I remember correctly asked a coworker to help swipe clean. I believe it was a "super" cleaning. The least of his charges but should be interesting and obviously help with the kidnapping trial.

I think they've moved the searches up to 7am because of the heat. But still, every Saturday. They'll take all the help they can get.

One day I hope to look here and see she has been found.
I don't think they will find her unless the person responsible tells where he left her.

Prayers for Christina!
bumping her back to page 1!

I have the same thought Eileen730, Unfortunately I don't think EA will ever tell so I just hope she will be found by accident (and sooner rather than later).

Prayers for Christina's family.
