The W hotel is 14 minutes from where the remains were found. That's not that far. The SAL are only 30 minutes from the W.

Also, the SAL are only about 37 minutes from where these remains have been found. I really hope this is her, so we can get a murder charge and hopefully some closure.

"Quite close"? LOL The hotel where HF stayed was north of downtown Dallas, and in the highest-dollar commercial district. The residential and low class area where this body was found is well south of the downtown Dallas area, in a decayed and rundown area all the way down near the levees. Closer than Allen, of course, but still not close at all.

Not that it really matters. There is nothing "curious" about a body that is found in South Dallas that isn't CM and has nothing to do with this case. I know some want to stir up support for every body that's found within 100 miles being "likely" to be Christina for some reason or another, but that's really not the case at all.

And most importantly to remember, CM was IN THE TRUNK of EA's car, so she is likely to be found at a site with actual proximity to where that car was (Allen TX) and might have gone, not closer to where HF was partying in the next county.

As you have said all along, he could have put her anywhere. Why not here? And,I don't know if you know many drug dealers, but that area is not that scary to some people. It might be to you and me, but it's not like people are shot and stabbed there every night. It's literally 15 minutes from the high dollar district.

Meanwhile, a real trial of EA is heating up, with multiple motions being filed by EA's side to try to suppress evidence that has been gathered by LE. And there's plenty of inference that the defense is going to try to character-assassinate the witnesses who have info on what happened, to try to help EA can skate on the predatory acts he did to CM. So there's that.

Next court date is Sept 18.

I have friends from back home who live less than a block from these remains, its not a great area but no one will kill you if you are walking down that street while light skinned, Its not the deepest ghetto in Dallas at all , I've dropped the female off at 2 in the morning at that location now with that said I would probably not want to stop and get gas in the area but its not like I'm scared to be white there and there are a lot of Hispanics in the area , I don't think it out of the question ....seriously Heather the bf was in a hotel close I missed that !!!!

If you get a chance, would you ask your friends if there is any local chatter about the body found? Thanks!

Sure, in theory EA COULD have put her anywhere. But some places should be way higher on our "likely" list than others.

If a body of an unidentified small white girl who has been dead for some time is found somewhere N, E, or NE of Dallas county, get very interested. Or a body with that description ("unidentified small white girl who has been dead for some time") found anywhere within 100 miles, even, should make our ears perk up a bit. But an undescribed body of indeterminate size, sex and color found down in crime-ridden South Dallas? Not likely at all to be her.

(a) This place in S Dallas was nowhere near where EA and CM were, in Allen Texas, (b) toll tag records and phone pings don't place them going anywhere near Dallas, (c) logically EA is going to take her to a place he won't be seen, ie away from people rather than to an area filled with them, to leave her, and (d) EA is from a suburban world, so imo he would have had the same aversions to this area (and other ghetto areas) that you or I would.

If she is discovered in an area that seems unexpected, then yes it would open up lots of new questions. But imo it's getting the cart way ahead of the horse to worry about such questions when she has NOT been found in an unexpected place.

She was IN THE TRUNK of EA's car, that car was in Allen TX, and imo it's logical to look from there. Or to lock up EA for a lifetime if he won't tell where he left her, because he knows what happened to her. She was IN HIS TRUNK and she didn't leave it without him knowing where and when and how.

And just to kind of help others understand, these kids probably knew Dallas very well. Not many people really party in Allen or, honestly, even Plano. They were into skateboarding, EDM, and drugs. Not wine and craft beer. I'm pretty sure,they hung out in Dallas a lot. We know HF and CM frequented the Jaguars strip club/Eternal Eden after-hours scene. This is not out of range for these kids.

When was the last time you were looking for drugs at 5AM? I guarantee you, you don't go to Allen to score. You go to SE Dallas.

It's incredibly absurd to think the upper class Allen kids opt to hang out in South Dallas slums (and there's a world of difference and many many many miles between South Dallas and the party scene on the very north edge of Dallas). Nor would someone looking to get drugs go that far, imo, especially when drugs can be found just about everywhere.

We have a whole slew of drug cases demonstrating that the party kids at places like Eden (many many miles north of downtown Dallas) got their drugs there, and dealers sold there. Convenient. Safe. No driving needed. Already at the party scene. That's why all the drug busts. Kids wouldn't have gone to the dark dangerous ghetto in the middle of the night (or anytime, for that matter) because they really didn't need to. Or want to, either. That's not their world, and there are no parties there.

Wait, after re-reading this, I'm confused. After a year (like I said) how would anyone know this is a small, white girl? And why would he only go north or northeast or northwest? South, southeast, southwest is where everything is? Please explain your thought process.

I'm not worried or getting the cart before the horse. I'm not a family member that has extreme emotion about this. I'm genuinely curious, and this is actually the first time I have thought a body/remains might be our girl. I, of course, would love to find her alive, but I think most of us have decided that that's probably not the case. We can't rule it out until it's ruled out. So, let's not stop hoping.

Finding her is the first priority. I, of course, want the responsible parties to e charged and held responsible. Finding her is what can make sure this happens. Wherever she is.

Well, I disagree very much with what you just said. Do you think eternal Eden was a preppy spot? Do you know what EDM is? These scenes are not glamorous.

I was a very, very upper class Westover Hills Catholic schoolgirl who definitely knew plenty of people who went to shady places because they wanted to be cool. Or they wanted to score and their white collar drug dealer was out.

Weren't the clubs like Eden/Jaguars being cracked down on even before Christina's disappearance? I mean there had been at least 3 deaths associated with that one club scene, and more than likely undercover Feds were there. That puts dealing on a whole different playing field. Even HF wasn't dealing at Eden's that night. Drugs were probably getting a little harder to come by if the DEA and Feds were involved. That would lead drug-seekers to venture out of the safer areas and into the darker, more unfamiliar, seedy areas to score. I have to wonder if Christina and HF had gotten wind of the clubs being watched and narcs were giving out names...

Christina chose to stay away from that scene to let things cool down and not get busted, but HF thought he was moving on up by dealing at The W. Still wonder what they were fighting about...

Oh! Yeah! Christina might be small, but in the words of Shakespeare "Though she be but little, she is FIERCE!" I think if she was PO'd she could open a serious can of kick-butt on whomever.

that's what I would think as well but I found that Irving had 2 unidentified bodies on 1 lot I was shocked and amazed(being the address of 2700 proctor st. in Irving) that 2 were found in the middle of the city I talked to a detective about this , he said surprisingly the middle makes a good dump ground???

Okay, if you say so. I don't live in Allen, and I don't do drugs, so I have no personal knowledge. It doesn't seem likely to me, from the geography and the demographics, but where they do what they do is where they do what they do, of course - if the kids in Allen all go to S Dallas, then that's where they go.

In any event, the theoretical won't really matter here. LE will make an ID, and it will either be CM or it won't.
