C N B??? Yeah, he was bi-polar and stopped taking meds I later found out. Left me a nice note on my car with 4 slashed tires saying "Should have returned my texts" and signed it! Genius.... Glad I dodged that bullet!

I don't think the lights in the garage would deter anyone from abducting Christina. Most abductions happen in broad daylight. If someone saw an opportunity, just cruising around and happened to pull into the garage and see Christina - that's all it takes.

However, the police aren't ruling anyone out, but they say "they are cooperating." We haven't heard about anyone taking a lie detector tests. They didn't bring dogs in. I just don't get it. What are they doing? Have they checked with Christina's co-workers to see if somebody had a beef with her through her work? I'm trying to remain calm, but they act like the perp is going to walk up and put out their hands and say here I am, cuff me. Uggghhh!

Is this coming from a man's perspective? You don't have to answer if you don't want to; I just think we should think as a man would, not a single woman, since she was with a man walking.

I'm a female, so this is coming from a female's perspective. We don't know who was more intoxicated walking back. He could have led them through Parkwood thinking it would be a quicker walk. I don't think guys in their early 20's think of "safety" they are all 10 feet tall and bulletproof. If he was intoxicated she would have more than likely lead the way. I see a lot more foot traffic going down Bishop than Parkwood after the bars close. However, maybe they could have taken Parkwood since nobody is claiming to come forward saying they saw them? Also.. depending on which end of Scruggs the friend lived on... whichever side they were closer too.... Bishop or Parkwood.

I'm not a man, but I think a man would avoid "creepy" areas too unless he's packing or walking his Rottweiler.

No, actually I have never felt the need to ask if the cameras outside are just for looks or if they record. I know they have surveillance cameras on the first floor of our buildings (working or not, no clue?) I have been told there are exterior cameras around the apartment buildings but I am not 100% sure. There are a lot of hit and runs with cars parallel parked so I was informed of those cameras when we reported her car being smashed into, then the car took off. Nothing better than waking up at 3am to find a rental car smashed in by a hit and run driver below your balcony!

Now is the PURRRRFECT (cat woman voice) opportunity to start asking ..
It would be only logical to ask about it now.

(pretty please)

I think the guy walking with Christina walks like he had a bit more to drink than Christina. He was kind of swerving and walking into her. Made me kind of want to push him and say "get off me!" Christina was focused on her phone.

Random brain dump:
I wonder if she used someone else's phone before she left the party in order to contact someone she didn't want traced from her phone?

Am I understanding correctly that in August of last year, she moved into a place with her boyfriend and dog, and then shortly thereafter cheated on and left the boyfriend and moved in with his best friend?

And now the boyfriend she cheated WITH is possibly cheating ON her?

Here's what crosses my mind. She appears to be someone who seeks attention. She threw away a long term relationship to be with someone who (if cheating rumor is true) wasn't worth giving up the former boyfriend for. She has an argument with him and leaves to go out with friends. She calls him 15 times after she leaves.

Is it possible she got mad and decided she would take off and disappear in order to get the boyfriend's attention? Trying to make him realize how much he would miss her? It's drastic, but hey, she's 23. Women a lot older than that do crazy things for attention!

So she uses someone else's phone at the party, possibly without them even knowing, and arranges for someone to meet her at the parking garage. The friend walks her to the garage and she walks through and meets up with her ride.

Here's where it gets fuzzy...seems like if it was attention seeking, she wouldn't have let it go on this long and put her parents through this agony. So did something go wrong with the person who picked her up?

I really should probably just put these crazy thoughts in a journal and start writing books. My ideas are usually too over the top!! But that's why I love WS, I can have wild ideas and you guys don't think I'm a lunatic.

Eileen, your theory sounds very plausible, but I'm stuck on the fact that she made 15 calls (that went unanswered) to the same number before her phone went dead/turned off. Any thoughts on that?

We are assuming they went unanswered.
I think we figured that with 15 calls no one answered but that may be wrong. There may have been a lot going on.
Add to that didn't her mom say she called BF just before entering that garage.

then she vanishes!

I cant say any more than that.

15 calls
Argument
Not reported missing to me raises a red flag.

That's funny because I don't see that. To me they appear fine! she keeps looking at her phone I think.
See how we all see things differently.

That garage is not secured with an access gate because you obviously don't have to pay to park there. And we have found out it really wasn't patrolled. So, my point is that anyone could park there and they could stay there parked as long as they wanted. He could have been parked very near her and grabbed her when she tried to get in her car. He could have been sleeping off a drunk before heading home.

There are so many things that could have happened. With no working cameras how will we ever know?? jmo

I'm with you Eileen. I don't see anything strange or unnatural about the way they are walking. :)
