Not a lot of information yet but that location is closer to where the boyfriend was staying in the hotel. Do any of the lakes or rivers up closer to where all of EA's activity was drain into the Trinity River so they could have washed the body there?

The thing is that all we know is that EA's phone pinged near his house in the early morning hours. Beyond that, we have no idea. LE certainly may have more pings that would pinpoint where he went after that, but tbh if they know precisely where he went after that, I would think they would have discovered her remains by now. If they could track ALL of his movements, it would lead them somewhere!

All that being said because it is highly possible that after he was near his home, he may have left his phone behind and taken her body somewhere, he could have used another vehicle, he could have passed her on to someone else, there are many possibilities of him moving about the dfw area without being tracked....
So, to answer your question: do lakes and rivers close to his known activity drain down there? No.
But is it possible that he was in other locations that could drain there? Sure.
We obviously don't know everything that transpired that night/morning -- obviously! If we did, this thread would be closed and her case solved!
Hopefully we will get more info about these latest remains soon.

IMO lakes Lavon and Ray Hubbard are very good options for him to have dumped her body and should not be easily dismissed. Moo

White Rock Creek is very close to SAL...and flows to the Trinity River. I really think this could be Christina.

Thanks for researching this!! So yes, there certainly is a possibility. I have to admit that the idea of it is horrifying, though because from the reports they've only found a foot, is that correct? I have a lot of questions that pop up in my mind, but all too gruesome to verbalize, to be honest.

I'm not familiar with this creek to know how big it is. A lot of creeks around here were nothing but a trickle until we got all that rain which resulted in many waterways flooding. That could allow a body to travel quite a distance, I would imagine.

It really is time for her to be brought home. For her family to have closure.

And for those responsible to be held accountable.

Thank you. Yes. Lewisville Lake does drain into the Trinity and it is a place where Christina was known to go along with many other friends her age. I would have to assume EA was familiar with the lake, too.

Since we don't know where EA went that night or if his phone was with him the entire time, it is always possible he could have driven to the river or the lake to find a secluded spot to dump her. Driving clear to Lewisville Lake or another spot on the river would put distance between his house and where he put her body.

If this isn't her, maybe she will surface next.

If a body is weighted down or being held down by debris in water, the hands and feet are first to separate due to the decomposition weakening the ligaments and tendons. The currents continue to apply motion to the joints and they finally give way.

I do think it is possible to be Christina, but it could be another long wait for an ID on this one.

I have no feeling on whether or not it is her. But your post gave me a thought. These remains , whoever they belong to , may not have even necessarily been placed IN water initially. We have had so much rain in May / June and again last week that many fields and low lying DRY areas became temporary rivers and creeks. Food for thought.....

If DNA can be extracted, why should the wait be longer than usual? I may have missed something. But condition of remains does not usually affect DNA, as far as I know?

True. But, unfortunately, it doesn't change any of the possibilities here because the Trinity is a long long river, and a dead body floats downstream not upstream. Let me explain.

Pretty much all of the watershed in the greater DFW area eventually flows to some part of the Trinity. But where the various rivulets and creeks and waterflows intersect the Trinity is part of the equation - some areas flow into it north of Dallas, some south of Dallas, some in various parts here and there. As far as the White Rock waterflow, it hits the Trinity about 5-10 miles downstream from the site where these remains were found.

You are probably right. We shall see.

Here is some DNA info, pertaining to bones:

Bone is one of the best sources of DNA from decomposed human remains. Even after the flesh is decomposed, DNA can often be obtained from demineralized bone. DNA from bone has been used to identify the repatrioted bones from Vietnam era servicemen, and the remains of the White Russian Romanov family who were executed during the Bolsheviek revolution.

If it's not too much trouble, could you post a map or give me coordinates to look for where the remains were found so I can visualize better what you're trying to explain?

Okay.
What about a bone being found by an animal and carried somewhere?
But why would an animal drop it's treasure? Oh, unless it had more than just a foot bone.
Yeah, I'm reaching.

Hi everyone. Long time lurker first time posting on Christina's thread. I have read for days and days getting familiar with Christina's case by reading all the threads since her disappearance--I still have this and 2 more threads to finish all of the posts. I have quick question that someone may be able to answer--When I do a search on EA arrest history (DOB 3-12-1990, Attorney of Record Keith Gore) it shows that he has was charged on 11-01-2012 with Sexual Assault of a Child, Am I missing something here because I have not seen this discussed and I am on thread #37. TIA for any help in clarifying the veracity of this information. Link to site provided below...

When the detectives were investigating EA's phone records, for the kidnapping charge, they came across a phone text (to his then current girlfriend), basically of EA admitting to having sex with a minor (back in 2012), hence the sexual assault charge. Click on the link below. Hope that helps!

ETA: The SA charge didn't happen until March & was discussed some here, just not at great length. You probably just haven't gotten to those postings yet.

Thanks you very much Zippi, that indeed helps. BTW I have appreciated your thoughts and opinions, along with many others,on this case.

An observation and definitely MOO---I see several people here that followed the Travis Alexander murder trial, just wondering if those of you have noticed a striking similarity between the convicted Murderer JA (defendant in the Alexander trial) and EA?

For example both of these defendants to varying degrees; are prolific liars and even when faced with absolute proof to the contrary double down or blame their memory, or come up with stories on the fly that roughly fit the scenario being presented, they have had an unofficial "spokesperson" advocating for them (CQ and ALV), both play the victim, both are all about "me, me, me", both lived at home with their parents at the time of the crime...

I just hope and pray that this trial doesn't become the utter nightmarish farce (legally) that the Alexander trial became.
