There was this about remains being found just before Christmas which posted on here on 12/21.

No word on an identity that I can find in the news. You would think dental records would make it an ID before now. Now that I look at the article, I noticed those that found the remains found them at 5:30 PM. That's after dark, in the woods. That tells me the remains weren't hidden very well if they found them in the dark.

Thanks for that, but I feel compelled to note that those remains may have been identified weeks ago without notice. Typically, the identification of a "found dead body, identity unknown" won't ever get into the news, as it's not really newsy unless the identification itself is considered of interest to the general public.

The place where those remains were found isn't really suggestive of it being CM. And had they determined that CM was either a strong possibility or it was definitely her, I have no doubt it would have been all over the news immediately, so the lack of any news hints strongly that our girl was ruled out long ago, and the search continues.

Any update on Hunter's case?

I've been wondering about that. I know he's not considered a suspect but knowing what type of evidence they have on him, may shed light on a few things.

What case was that (defendant, and victim)? It doesn't sound like Texas, but I guess crazy stuff happens everywhere.

I agree, it doesn't sound like Texas. The 1986 Aggravated Kidnapping conviction of John Robert King and Gerald Zwarst for the for one of the I 45/Texas 'Killing Field victims (Shelly Sikes) gives me hope. Both men received life sentences and her body was never found. I believe one recently died in prison and the other is still serving his time.. not talking, not giving her family peace... so sad.

Can't wait until EA's earthly Judgement Day.

I just read up on this case & it seems there was a confession, but they were sentenced to life on the AK charge. There was no murder charge because of "no body", even though one of the guys took LE to where they thought the body was, but they only found Sikes blouse. The two have been eligible for parole every 1-5 years, but have been denied, due to the vigorous efforts of the family.

As you stated, King died in prison & Zwarst is up for parole in 2017.

Just checking in and bumping for Christina.

As for the remains in Forney, some family will have some closure. Prayers for them.

Skeletal remains were found in Forney, TX. I wonder if it might be Christina.

http://inforney.com/local-news/item...gating-skeletal-remains-found-off-helms-trail

I live in the area and this is not a common occurrence.

*On a Forney FB website the word is that, according to the high school kids that found the skull, it definitely looked human.

IMO this certainly fits as one of those "needle in a haystack" type of locations that could have been the one that EA chose for some odd reason, or for almost no reason at all. Or not. How i see this ...

  • I'm one who thinks the most likely choice for him, from where he lived, he would have gone (a) N, (b) E, (c) N then E, (d) E then N, or (e) NE. This would have been S then E. So it's not in one of my preferred areas to look, but it certainly is feasible.
  • It's generally in the first "out of town" area as you go east pass Forney, driving away from Dallas
  • The broad topography here is lightly populated and lots of woodsy areas
  • For EA it would have been all highway driving through E Dallas County to Hwy 80 past Town East Mall (passing through heavily populated residential and retail areas), then heading E out 80 towards Louisiana. Going E on 80 you go through flood plain areas that aren't very accessible off 80, that separate Dallas/Mesquite and Forney, then to the small rural/suburb town of Forney. This is just past Forney.
  • So in theory, EA drove down 80, just past Forney, saw an exit with a woodsy area near it, and took a stab at it (not saying this is the only such choice of that type, but there could have been a certain randomness where he drove until he decided "okay, this is far enough and this looks promising")
  • This spot is indeed drivable within the time frame we have theorized (we figured some place within an hour radius from his home allows time to drive, a bit of time to dump-hide her, and the same hour drive back). This would have taken a 45 minute drive one way without stops, and maybe a bit longer to get here if he's tried some other exits and they didn't yield a good accessible hiding spot.
  • This specific site is on a paved 2-lane, rural, wooded, probably accessible (lightly fenced with no habitations anywhere in sight) for both dumping a body and for having a place to park off-road while doing that (a 2-lane with grassy mowed road-level road ditch on either side)
  • Nothing that I know of that would tie EA to this as a selected hiding place (or vice versa). But that's not a disqualifier necessarily, of him having put CM here, as there could have been much randomness to this site selection

All that having been said, if it's her, I expect we will hear it trumpeted on the news in the next week or two. (It's much easier to match remains to a specific missing person, than to put an ID label when the person found doesn't match a local missing case.) No news soon almost certainly means it's not a match to CM - IOW a missing person without a high profile like CM has been, or someone not identified right away because it doesn't match the known local missing.

I believe Forney is a possibility. We don't know who EA's circle of acquaintances are and what areas he is familiar with, though. (LE probably does.)

I also tend to believe he went north up Hwy 75 or up Hwy 75 and then east on 380. That just seems logical given he had little time before it was light and more people were up. It would seem to be the fastest way to a rural area from Allen.

Captain Klingelberger is the spokesman for the county where the 3 kids found the skull. I find his name interesting.
