But to what end? I don't know all 381+ of the officers, of course, but the ones I do know are honorable, humble, and hardworking. They're moms and dads and sons and daughters and brothers and sisters, too. I can't see them giving any less than their whole commitment to reuniting a family.

Can we say for sure that they haven't reached out to other agencies? I want to believe that there's a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff. Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Let's say they're choosing not to keep it in the media. What purpose could it serve?

I respect that, I'm a little frustrated, hoping everyday that good news or news in general comes forth, but nothing from them. Frankly, I'm ok with money grab cities as long as iti ends with results or even the impression of results when it counts. But, when it's money grab for the sake of money grab in a city with a healthy tax base to begin with....

It has been a few weeks, no communicated results and my opinion is that ppd needs to show something.

I would think that even at this point 3weeks later a police dog with a note in his mouth holding a press conference is better than nothing.

Do you think the families are getting regular updates? ty

Do you think LE has looked at cell phone pings for both the bf and garage escort? And looked through their cars?

They have had to right? Ugh if they found nothing there it really makes me wonder if this was a random thing.

They have gone through every text and call from the BF's phone. I have no clue about the young man that she was seen talking with.

This waiting reminds me of when there's a forecast of snow, and all the weather reporters are
REPORTING LIVE! FROM THE TOP OF THE HIGH 5! (Or Mix-master, or whatever)
This just in... nothing has fallen from the sky yet... but if it does, you'll be the first to know, so stay tuned...

We wait, we wait.

I think if the police would have brought in dogs in the beginning they could have possibly hit on something in the garage or in "certain people's cars". It's unfortunate..
I think they are completely at a loss of where to turn and too much time has passed. JMHO

Okay, I have wondered about if she missed one day of work or two. . . It was a holiday weekend and a lot of people take Labor Day off - 3 day weekend. Did she have to work Monday? Is there a link about her having missed 2 days of work before her boss called her family to find out where she was?

Good point as to what day Christina was supposed to work before Tuesday. I agree, for most 'office' types, Labor Day weekend would be a long one (holiday). All I know is I read in the first or second thread that her boss tried to contact Christina the second day she didn't show up for work. So much of the info in this case isn't msm therefore details become muddy. I'm sure the original post - whoever put the info out - can be traced back (I'm not up to it right now though as I'm hoping to catch up).

Hasn't it already been established that she was going home to get her dog?

Oops, see below. I began posting too far down.

Do you think it is odd about the BF's phone and just now releasing the texts?

Yes, odd. I don't trust the text/s though. Can't figure the timing - the last one being simultaneous to the time she was being disappeared. I fear Christina was ambushed and may have been setup. Are people positive that's even Christina in the garage video?

I keep my car key on a separate key ring than my house keys. Is that normal?

Probably not common to keep them separate. But, just recently, after having all keys together my whole life, I took my other various keys off of my car key fob. My father told me ignition problems (GM vehicle malfunctions) caused drivers to lose control of their car, and were caused by the weight of key chains dangling from the faulty ignitions. Mine looked too heavy so I split my keys up into two groups - why take the chance? I may add just a house key to my car key though because when I changed to a little purse one night, I didn't bring my house key along! I could have easily locked myself out but luckily someone else was at home.

Here's the response to the second question/reply.
Not sure anything has been established/confirmed to be true. We've heard details from CM's mom but those were told to her by various people (trustworthy or not?). First, the dog. Second, the house keys. Along with CM was planning to stay overnight and had changed into a borrowed t-shirt. I'm not even sure if bf and CM were really fighting as it is all hearsay so far. The boss hasn't been interviewed so we haven't heard her tell what she knows directly. Why would Christina leave her house, planning to stay overnight in the first place, if she wasn't sure someone (bf) was looking after her dog? Makes no sense unless it was a last minute decision but when she couldn't verify he was home, felt the need to return home herself.

The cheating on the part of the bf story came from the boss too - said CM had been crying at work upon learning bf was cheating on her. Even if true, wouldn't he still let the dog/s out if he were home? Who told the mom Christina was planning to stay overnight? You can't spontaneously do that when you have pets counting on you. Is bf going to take out their troubles on her dog?

Did bf seem nervous on camera for other reasons?

Did EA delete themselves from CM's Facebook?

Here is a theory. Based on http://www.uptowndallasgirl.com/dallas-news/missing-woman-christina-morris-updates-and-how-to-help/ (which still works for me btw) being trueish.

Christina is at the party and gets annoyed with her bf.
Uses her dog as a reason to go home and sort things out.
Walking man hears about her leaving and knows they're parked close, takes keys, says he's leaving too.
Christina and walking man chat and walk to garage.
She feels around in her purse and can't find keys. Messages bf asking him to leave the door open.
Walking guy offers her a lift back to the party to find keys.
She goes with him feeling safe, as they'd just walked half a mile together anyways.
Christina is now disappeared.

No I struggled to find him too. I only found him when I didn't search with letters and had to scroll through all friends.

I need more than that horribly written article to believe that the walking guy is guilty. Seems like LE would have asked to search his car and if she had been in it, he would have no good excuse if they really were not friends. I feel like we don't have any idea what LE has done or not done as far as trying to clear these people. But if they did not give any LD tests when supposedly people were willing, then they must have other reasons to believe they are telling the truth.

Maybe he is the secret POI or maybe LE really has no clue.

If Christina's mother shared the article for everyone to read and it was her who was interviewed in the article, then I feel like it has more credibility than any of the other information we've come across, which has no credibility at all, except for the video and a few other small details shared by the mass media. Who was the last person to see her as we know it? When he last saw her, if it's true that it was indeed the last time he saw her, then that's when her existence ended for the entire world except for her own, I hope. Since he was the last person, he should be put under a microscope.

Can someone please bring me up to speed on why it took so long to report Christina missing. I know it was a holiday weekend, but wasn't she expected home the night she disappeared?? TIA

I suppose that is the million dollar question.

Nearly 200 people, including family, friends and strangers gathered Thursday night, lit candles and prayed for the safe return of Christina Morris.

Morris, 23, was last seen in the early-morning hours of Aug. 30 at the Shops of Legacy shopping center in Plano.

"Man, I miss her. I miss her every day, every second. I need her," Morris' mother, Jonnie McElroy, told the crowd through tears Thursday at Allen High School.

Surveillance video from the shopping center shows Morris and a man, who has been described by family members as a friend of Morris' from high school, approaching a parking garage. Plano police have said their detectives have questioned that man, as well as several other people, and that no one has emerged as a person of interest or a suspect in Morris' disappearance.
