Mom - did you follow the Jennifer Huston case? The family did an amazing job with media, particularly social media with getting her information out. But I always felt they were not telling some things that "might" have been helpful. I guess my point is that sometimes I think families do not divulge things because they are afraid it might make people lose interest, rather than understanding any tidbit of information can be helpful. Folks will be in an uproar if I share what's been said many times before. Let's say this. I don't need to speculate, and I don't have to "sleuth". LE knows what happened, but building a case is tough without the missing.

I mean, why do you think they are looking for her in fields and streams? They already know.

So do they feel this was just a crime of opportunity as well? I mean basically that he didn't have this planned out?

Awwee Thanks Cat,

The whole situation makes me sad really. There are so many horrible things that are happening everyday in the world.

This case is so frustrating to me... since what I really pray for at this point is closure for Christina's family. We can all speculate and theorize as to who and how and such..and there will seemingly be plenty of time and opportunity for that. But right now ..at this moment in time... Exactly where she physically is located is the direction of the focus that should be Numero Uno priority.
At 4am this morning is 3 weeks since she has vanished without a trace... No hat,No Cell,No Backpack,No Shoe not even a lost set of keys have been recovered. All we have to go on is who she was with and the characteristics of said circle and electronic crumbs of a trail that is silent.

Your last line says it all IMO

I did. A heartbreaking case.
But...they were still searching for JH. Who is searching for CM?
TES left. PPD? Friends? IDK.
There are no organized searches for CM.
Very very sad.

I am confused about the drug theory...here's why.
If CM's family knows that releasing that info would help locate her, why would they NOT release it?
For crying out loud! She has not been hear from or seen in three weeks! Her parents don't seem like pretentious snobs. They seem like cool young parents. Parents who probably knew their daughter dabbled here and there.
Eh...I don't know.

ETA: I did read somewhere that some one said if no progress is made soon then Jonni will have to release more info. FWIW.

Maybe they think if certain habits unacceptable to most members of society are brought to light people won't take this case as seriously. Currently the Media is portraying her as a smart, young, talented, beautiful 23 year old. Perhaps if these so-called habits CM has were made public peoe would just be like "oh, just another overdose.. A young life which could have been saved". We live in Texas.. Especially with Plano being an upper middle class city, there is a strong presence of Christianity and Religion.. Just kinda my thoughts.. But I agree, the family needs to be forthcoming with LE and the public if they want answers. I think now they should be putting some heat on the group of friends she was out with that night of her disappearance.

Oh.. Also, my old neighbor moved across the shops in the same building that CM's friend lives, where they were partying that night. He said The City of Plano did a walk thru a few weeks ago of their units, also the apartment complex did a "walk thru" inspection as well this past week. I had earlier posted they did "walk thrus" of the Northside and Parkside apartments this week. Just thought that was odd since they have never done that before... Like I said before... Could be completely coincidental! JMO

Here's my theory, as you call it.

From the people I've talked to (who don't even know each other) that are in the know in Plano/Allen area and the people that know her group of friends, it's apparent to me that she's a drug addict. I can't say whether she left the garage with the guy she was seen walking with or if she had someone else come meet her, maybe a dealer, but I'm pretty certain there was no abduction and there was no foul play.

Nobody wastes time and resources to search for someone without having an idea of what may have happened. Why search Allen? Well, they say because she's from Allen. Ok, why is that a good reason? I'll tell you why. They searched Allen because they know that she knows where to go and who to buy from, and if somebody met her at the garage, then they were probably an Allen resident, and she probably ended up in Allen.
Oh. Oh no... You didn't type the letters JMO afterward. I'm having a hard time deciphering fact from opinion.... Let the scrutiny begin! Jk. Thanks for your theory.

Yes, very tragic case - had to take a few days off from WS and read something light-hearted for a few days. When I was reading about all the people searching for Hannah earlier this morning, I was so wishing something like that was being done for Christina. I haven't heard of any more organized searches and when TES came, they said they would be here for the long haul. Did something they found out change their mind? Confusing at best.

I'm pretty sure I know what happened also. One only has to follow the sm of Christina's friends to figure it out. It also answers the question of why LE isn't being more forthcoming with info. :cow:

And I do not believe she was abducted/kidnapped. Nope.

So you feel it was a drug related incident, then dumped? Just asking, it's the only other scenario I could come up with.

So is your theory an OD or physically harmed by a person?

I have a question of any locals who are familiar with the parking garage. Once CM and friend parted ways, if she stood at her car trying to figure out what to do, and then decided to go back to friends' apartment - if she had kept walking straight (in other words, made a complete loop from where she started out), would she have been caught on any camera anywhere? I know if she went back the way she came, there would be video of her coming back. Hope my question makes sense.

Hi sal! Here's my theory: The guy she's seen walking in the video with is a dealer. He's from Allen. They get in his car (otherwise why not show the video of them splitting up) and he shot her up with heroin and she overdosed. She had been drinking, not much, but it doesn't take much to OD from heroin if other drugs are in your system, including alcohol. She barely weighs 100 lbs, if that. He freaks when she OD's and is afraid to call 911. Doesn't wanna screw his life up. So, I disagree with your point about foul play. Not calling 911 when your friend OD's and you know she is OD'ing is foul play and he should be charged. This is just one event that could have played out that night. But, being the last person seen with means he should be answering some tough questions. Where is Christina?

She would have exited behind the Dunkin Donuts/Bank of America. Whether any cameras are working anywhere is unknown. But you would think that if she walked all the way around the front of DD or BOA there would be some footage (since we are talking about a bank, I would hope they have cameras in their front parking lot.)

Hope that helps.

I don't think he's a dealer. JMO

Exactly!
The mass organized searches have come to a screeching hault. TES is gone.
No pressers from LE. Now all we have is a FB page with support, love and care for the family...which is important. But...IMO will not bring Christina home.
I have followed other cases where the "Find" fb page has turned into a support and prayer page rather than a info page.
Where are the searches? Where is the urgency?
Yes. It has been three weeks. But it has ONLY been three weeks. It should not go cold.

It does - thanks so much. I was trying to figure out if she walked into an area out of camera range (maybe an unlit area), then anybody could have abducted her.

That's definitely what I think.

I just want to thank everyone! I've been reading on Websleuths FOREVER, but never posted until the Anne Hill case, which is pretty ironic considering this one seems to be going down the same route! Anyway, sorry if I've double posted, over posted, blah, blah, but I'm slowly learning the ropes & I just wanted to say thank you to all of the "seasoned" Websleuther's for making me feel welcome!!!
