hello everyone! I'm totally new to this group. I am in mesquite Texas and am a prior police officer. I just wanted to join in on this thread. I have been studying this case or lack thereof since it was first reported.

What are your thoughts so far? tia

I've actually been reading as much of it as I could before I got approved to be able to post. I too have tossed around some of the very same ideas as a lot of these. However, I realized early in this that for unknown reasons, PPD has not released anything of significance at all. being prior police, I find this to be very odd

"Odd" as in because that must mean they know nothing, which you think would be strange, or "odd" as in things are withheld only when there is more to the story?

I'd like to know that too. IIRC, Tim and Cindy Anthony butted heads because Cindy insisted on Equusearch look for a live Caylee and Tim didn't want to go along playing that Caylee was still alive (alive Caylee = more money than deceased Caylee). I don't think that is the case here, but was Tim made aware that there was possibility that CM could have overdosed? I think probably so, but who knows???? Maybe he got more information out of the "friends" than we are hearing. No clue!

Good Grief there is a name I had not heard in a while

My son is a Lt. with Garland PD.. I have thought about asking him about this but I don't think info I shared between PDs. Plus I don't think he could talk about it if they did. Welcome aboard.

That would fall under renter's insurance! Yeah, I have quite a bit of clients who insure their clothing and update coverage amounts about 2 to 3 times a year.

TES comes in to do targeted search areas provided by LE. And then they leave. This is how they have operated in all cases I have seen, pretty much. They do not just come to town, planning to stay indefinitely. They wants areas identified before they arrive.

I probably know him if he was there in early and mid nineties.

I still think it was an OD. Find her dealer and you'll get loads of info.

Ok Swede ,

Where are we getting warm at ... I am sure we are close ...
At this point ... sugar coating a cow patty does not make the final result sweet.

He was in Dallas for several years then transferred to Garland. He is still in Garland, but I am not sure when he went there.

Sounds right to me I read somewhere they didn't even want to know inside info so leaks could not be blamed on them? But I'm sure they know quite a lot. I heard Tim say at the beginning they are in it for the long haul so I hope they come back. Just a thought...maybe the PD didn't have any great leads but since they are working on making the drone more exceptable by law and we are so very close to their home base...could it have been worth it to them to just take a shot in the dark? Just wondering if anyone else thought it could be the case?
