Oh my goodness. Lots of facts are getting totally mixed up on here. Welcome new people, but you may want to start with thread one and read all the posts.
*Her current bf is HF and she has been living with him for just over a year.
*Her last bf was AP she dated him for a year then moved in with him but she started seeing HF during that time so they split up and she moved out to go live with HF in Ft worth.
*AP has a brother RP who does have a sexual assault charge against him.
*RP was NEVER named as the person at her apt in March.
*SN was with CM at some point the night of her disappearance. It was never stated as fact that he was in the apt or if she saw him earlier.
*The friend walking with her in the video was never named by LE. Parents have stated many times that this was not a close friend. That eliminates AP obviously. We saw on sm that the walker is EA but that hadn't been confirmed by LE.

Imo, LE wants this case solved. No LE agency wants a case that has made the news to go unsolved. If they had anything they thought the public could help with, Imo,they would release it. They have likely had experts looked at cleaned-up versions of the video they have and decided there was nothing there and nothing to be gained by showing it. I really don't think they are sitting on info. If anything,they may have gut feelings about what happened and who was involved, but no evidence ,in which case there is very little they can do except wait for a break in the case. All jmo.

Wait! I'm confused. I thought Steven Nickerson was the old high school friend, who was seen on the video walking in the garage with CM. Who is Walker Texas Stranger??? Love the name, who thought of this?

Steven Nickerson is just a person that was with her before she went missing and gave an interview early on. Not rumored to be Walker Texas Ranger.

And I can't remember who originally came up with Walker Texas Ranger but its genius really, isn't it? Totally hilarious.

I think (and this is just MY Opinion) Walker Texas stranger is no stranger and is he old BF.
Maybe he is the one that took her keys if he was at the apartment with her.
When U think about it
she walked into that garage and never seen leaving it her car is still there.
Soooo I think she left with the Walker.
Nothing else makes any sense....
There is a BIG reason no one says who he is...
That is our hint....

Right, this is what I don't get. They say he's cleared, but is that just because he said "I don't know where she went"? Did they search his car? Wouldn't him being the last person seen with her, verified by video, be enough to get a search warrant for his car at least? Did they search his house? If he has nothing to hide why wouldn't he say hey, check my car, check my house, take a look at my phone records? If they HAVE done all this, why haven't they told the general public that so we know it was a thorough investigation?

They most likely did all of these things. LE often does not tell the public what they are doing. We find out later, in a trial, if ever. I remember one case from a crime show that had gone cold, but once they went to trial, they showed they had interviewed and cleared over 200 people, all while the locals thought nothing was ever done. LE has said they do not have any POI's; that may or may not be true, but I feel certain they worked on the witnesses as much as they legally could, but jmo.

EA didn't come from sm. It came from vi13 on ws.

Actually I DID see it on social media. A friend of HIS commented that he was the one with CM in that video, that he was questioned, and his car searched. But since it is sm, on here at least we don't consider it fact.

I noticed in the video, it didnt look like CM was getting prepared to get in any car. Wouldnt you think she would have been taking her back pack off and stuff like that?

She had a purse on her person, too. You can see the thin strap going across her body as she's walking to the garage.

It's so sad. So much time has gone by and nothing. Her parents and siblings must be devastated. It has to be horrible. I just keep wracking my brain to think of every possible scenario and keep coming up with dead ends because of the conflicting bits of info that we do have. I just wonder when her friends will decide that it just isn't worth it and will just drop the searching, you know just go on with their lives, like they have to really.

I mean after a long time passes, I would assume that they must move on -- I don't mean NOW of course, I still think it's too soon to give up. You can see how all of her friends still care so much, keeping the missing posters as their profile pics and all that. Of course we don't see her bf's fb because he doesn't have one, but all her close friends are obviously still putting her first. That's touching.

You are not breaking the law if you "voluntarily go missing." Now tax evasion and what not might be a different story, but I read that legally you can disappear if you choose.
