Okay in the Lake Oconee, Georgia case of Shirley and Russell Dermond, (and wildebeest can back me up on this), they had a $15,000 reward for information leading to information regarding Mrs. Dermond. She was missing. Mr. Dermond was dead in their home garage, but his head was gone. LE surmised that Mrs. Dermond's body was in Lake Oconee and expected her body to be found about a week after it was thought she went missing. It was in fact two weeks later when her body was found by 2 fisherman. They sought to claim that $15,000 reward and there was some stink raised about giving the reward money to the fisherman because apparently there was some finely worded print that stated leading to the felony arrest and indictment of whomever murdered the Dermonds. Long story short I'm glad it is plainly worded in Christina's poster because I don't think the fisherman ever got the reward for finding Mrs. Dermond.
Also, the reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of whomever committed the Dermonds' murders is only about $55,000. Great Waters/Reynolds Plantation did finally make a donation to bring the reward up to that amount. You would think that Shops at Legacy would also contribute to the reward leading to the arrest and indictment in Christina's case. Maybe they donated the $5000. :dunno: I am curious about if Shops at Legacy has donated any cash amount to the reward. I know they did help with making sure some of the TES searchers had motel rooms because Christina's mother said it in an interview. She thanked Shops at Legacy personally helping in that respect.
