This was posted overnight so maybe some of you missed it. I found it to be interesting, but what was even more interesting was the reply to it. I have scrolled and scrolled and cannot find that response. From my perspective, it sounded like the person responding knew CM. JMO

I saw it, too, and was perplexed. Maybe the reply got yanked in the mod sweep? Or maybe the responder realized that it could be misconstrued, so self-censored?

I can't remember the phrasing, but I got the impression it was some sort of irony involving amnesia that was beyond the scope of my wit.

From this link, it sounds like Allen has a high police presence:

xxxxxx also makes many stops at the park with his son xxxxxx, who is set to start kindergarten next school year. He said he doesn’t plan on leaving Allen, where he said a police officer once knocked on his door at 2 a.m. to tell him he left the garage door open.

Appeal to dove hunters. Ranches perhaps.

Okay in the Lake Oconee, Georgia case of Shirley and Russell Dermond, (and wildebeest can back me up on this), they had a $15,000 reward for information leading to information regarding Mrs. Dermond. She was missing. Mr. Dermond was dead in their home garage, but his head was gone. LE surmised that Mrs. Dermond's body was in Lake Oconee and expected her body to be found about a week after it was thought she went missing. It was in fact two weeks later when her body was found by 2 fisherman. They sought to claim that $15,000 reward and there was some stink raised about giving the reward money to the fisherman because apparently there was some finely worded print that stated leading to the felony arrest and indictment of whomever murdered the Dermonds. Long story short I'm glad it is plainly worded in Christina's poster because I don't think the fisherman ever got the reward for finding Mrs. Dermond.

Also, the reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of whomever committed the Dermonds' murders is only about $55,000. Great Waters/Reynolds Plantation did finally make a donation to bring the reward up to that amount. You would think that Shops at Legacy would also contribute to the reward leading to the arrest and indictment in Christina's case. Maybe they donated the $5000. :dunno: I am curious about if Shops at Legacy has donated any cash amount to the reward. I know they did help with making sure some of the TES searchers had motel rooms because Christina's mother said it in an interview. She thanked Shops at Legacy personally helping in that respect.

Yes, I will back up Boot's post!!!

Sometimes I wonder whatever happened to paragraphs.

Paragraphs died with the advent of smartphones and shortly before the demise of grammar. It's Shakespeare's penultimate tragedy...

Rest in Pieces.

So was Christina a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien or was the BF? I do find it to be an odd post.

She's probably a fan of "The Outsiders".

Not a fan myself, but he did have a way with words:

Twenty years have flowed away down the long river
And never in my life will return for me from the sea
Ah years in which looking far away I saw ages long past
When still trees bloomed free in a wide country
And thus now all begins to wither
With the breath of cold-hearted wizards
To know things they break them
And their stern lordship they establish
Through fear of death

Interestingly, although Plano PD has not sought help from the FBI or the Texas Rangers, Colleyville did seek both agencies out in the investigation of this murder in Colleyville: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...r&p=11025863&highlight=anita+fox#post11025863

They even have a VOI "The vehicle of interest is described as a mid-2000s, 2-door pickup truck, police said while the make and model was not known, it was described as a cream or champagne in color with metal pipe bed racks. Police did not have a license plate number."

AND a POI: "A composite sketch of a white man with close-cropped hair was released, with police emphasizing that this "person of interest" is not currently considered to be a suspect. The man is said to be around 40, medium height with a heavy build and was last seen wearing a blue or gray t-shirt with blue jean shorts."

Is this by the Suncreek neighborhood-- kind of where Alma and Bethany meet? Opposite side of the street from the windmill? That little park gives me the heebie-jeebies. I wonder if it has been checked.

It's east of Allen Heights and north of Bethany according to Google maps. It's east of Cottonwood Creek also. I haven't lived in Allen for many years and I don't really remember it. I lived in Allen when CM was born there and for many years after that.
