ETX police searching for missing teen with autism, may be in Marshall area

GREENVILLE, TX (KLTV) - Marshall police and Greenville police are searching for a missing autistic teen.

Cooper Gudgel, 16, went missing on March 29. He was last seen at his residence before school. Cooper left a note stating that he was going to Dallas. It is unknown what Gudgel was wearing.

Cooper is 5'9 and weighs around 150 lbs, with Brown hair and Brown eyes.

There are reports that Gudgel may have been seen in the vicinity of I-20 near Hallsville, according to Marshall Police.

If you locate Gudgel please contact the Greenville Police Department at 903-457-2900 with his location.

***UPDATE***


Cooper was located in Dallas by a UT-Southwestern Police Officer on Sunday, April 8th. We were told Cooper is safe and was returned to his parents
