Maybe I missed it, but I had no idea that when they found the car, that the keys were on the console.

Hope I don't offend anyone, but it would be interesting to know the financial status regarding CM and if that Merc was way behind in payments, etc. I am beginning to lean entirely in other directions, but I have been wrong before. MOO

Wouldn't LE be able to get all that from the motel with a warrant?

I think if there was any indication that Crystal left of her own free will, her uncle and BF would not be speaking of her in the past tense. Plus the sheriff has said he believes foul play is involved. I just don't think this case is going to have a good outcome, but I'd be happy to be wrong.

I'm late to this discussion but re: having male friends.. I'm a female and the majority of my friends are male. I have only one girlfriend I'm close with, so I don't find it odd. When I first started talking to my current bf they knew all about him and even gave me advice.

U can get one( a Benz ) for 200.00 a month.
This is not about her having money problems IMO

I think kirkassoc is thinking about someone needing an insurance payout. Who's the beneficiary?
BTW, Mercedes don't depreciate much in value. It is at least valued at $20,000.

Im thinking that she grew up with a ton of "Uncles" and male friends due to her Uncle being gay. See nothing wrong with that.

One would think!
But one person could pay for the room and u dont know who the other person was. Harder if the person was not supposed to be there if u catch my drift lol

I work in a construction office, and the sales guys wear dress clothes if staying in the office, but if going in the field to look at land or put out signs, they wear jeans, so I can see her changing clothes. And i bet that she keeps a change of clothes at the office in case she has an evening appointment or she spills something on the clothes. TO always look professional.

Honesty I think the person they are looking for has nothing to do with the motel and just used the parking lot.

If motel 6 had no cameras they won't be of much use. The gas station behind it tho might be a much Better source

I agree with this...also I feel as she was a flight attendant she maybe accustomed to changing outfits during the day.
I'm a female and I can say I've been known to have a "closet" in my trunk. Shoes, clothes, jackets, etc. all just in case something came up- I'm a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of gal ;)
I also don't find it odd if she did change outfits throughout the day.

As far as the Motel 6 goes, I think they are probably just looking for people who might have witnessed the car being parked there.

  • #597
Remember when the annoying PI said something about witnesses to who parked the car.Has there been anything else said about that?

  • #598
I bet it is hard to contact all the people from the Motel 6! They should really put out a public flyer or something! The people staying there are probably long gone by now leaving asap after being flooded in. I know as soon as it was safe, I would be leaving. So, you figure all the people staying there at the time, they have to possibly interview them by phone most likely if they were not local. It aggravates me that there is no security footage of cars coming in! Ugh!

Yes! I haven't heard anything more about that statement that was made. You have to assume that nothing came to fruition.

I wonder if any tenants would really know anything anyway. In a situation like they were in, i.e. an imminent disaster being predicted, they were likely 99.9% focused on their own situation and likely not paying attention to much else.

I find it very hard to believe that the hotel has no security cams.
