For those who have Iphones, do those phones have tap to share capabilities? I'm not exactly sure what the name would be exactly. I have a Samsung Note 5 and my husband has the same model, we have a capability to tap our phones together physically and share info. We have only done this once to share the grocery list. The day and time I created the list shows up differently on his phone. His shows the time it transferred to his phone.

The reason why I asked was IF she used an old phone that belonged to him, that could make it easy to swap out some photos from her phone to his.

I didn't know my husband did this until later in the day when he told me.

I'm just throwing some random thoughts out there. It just sure seems a lot of electronics were disturbed at the same time. Also, I'm not sure but, IF you have video equipment in your home as much as he does and at work due to his job, don't those have battery back-up that would kick in in case of power surge/outages etc? His time was off quite a bit if I remember correctly. We only have a front door alarm for my father in law, but his switches to battery. Nothing fancy or hi-tech at all. We have never hooked it up to anything but a monitor. I am not tech saavy at all.

He appeared irritated when two texts were sent. I think one said, "are you almost here" and just pick them up at PNP. To me, it seemed he was not happy.

The next text that day was about the dishwasher. A person can take that info and arrive at that type of conclusion.

I disagree, those texts were short and to the point. You can't really assume the tone unless you see other text exchanges He didn't say, "Where the hell are you?" He was polite and to the point.

The time stamps and this whole issue with those have already been discussed and by LE has acknowledged they know the time and have adjusted accordingly. Also most at home camera systems tend not to be always showing correct time. Say for instance the power goes out; clocks will need to be reset. Daylight savings, again they would need adjustment.

Bottom line is the different timestamps have already been figured out and confirmed to be 100 percent correct as to what BF said.

Link to where LE has confirmed all of this?

Yes it is. It can make all the difference in the world. You need to know about Crystal and what she was up to in the days, weeks, and months leading up to her disappearance. There could be someone from months ago that hasn't even come up yet. It is not uncommon to find that if you start opening up the closets of a victim all kinds of skeletons come falling out and things are not even remotely as they had seemed to be. There is already evidence of secrecy and deception on the part of the victim not too long before she disappeared. The BF story has changed more than once in terms of the length of the relationship.

When you are seeing and hearing deception it is important to learn just why that is. Knowing just how long this relationship has really been going on or even if there were other relationships besides the BF is important. Without knowing these kinds of things you are working with blinders on.

I didn't see where there was already secrecy and deception going on. But, I agree we don't have all the info and most the time we don't get all the info in the beginning.

I'm positive and hopeful that this will not drag on for months. Hopefully, LE is very close to figuring it all out.

Regardless of what you and I think, those texts were never read or delivered.

There is something called air drop that can transfer information like that. You can set it for only contacts to receive or another setting where anyone with an iPhone in the area can receive media. I hope this helps! 🙂

Totally agree! I don't think some of the texts that came from CM phone were from her as well.

I agree and I think missing her afternoon appointment clued her Uncle in that something could be wrong. Thankfully.

I don't know these people but I agree with you. Also perhaps Crystal and boyfriend were dating longer -- maybe while divorce was pending; thus, the 4 weeks - 6 weeks and timeframe from BF could be off.

Also - why would the husband send her a text message at 8:05am saying just pick up kids at PNP (his work). He was irritated she hadn't arrived but more importantly those texts were NEVER READ!!

And, so does she have the kids? Are they missing? The husband sends another text about dishwasher but never once asked what happened why she didn't pick up the kids.

I just think that is easy to over analyze all this but go back to what we know! The text messages tell a HUGE STORY!

Not necessarily. It's possible that she routinely ignores his texts, so he might have tried texting her about the dishwasher in or order to elicit a response. Say that it was a dishwasher for the townhouse she is refurbishing. She was probably very interested in getting it finished, so she would reply because that was progress towards getting it finished?

Maybe he didn't bother texting again on behalf of the kids cause it apparently doesn't elicit a response? Didn't he text her the night before to ask if she was coming home to say goodnight to the kids? If I recall, she did not reply to that.

So, maybe she thinks that he uses the kids to get her to come home when she's out with her boyfriend? He may or may not. It may legitimately be the kids asking for her. But, maybe she she's tuned out the whole 'you should be here for the kids/the kids want you' stuff. So, he texted her about the dishwasher since she might be excited by that (townhouse coming together so she can move into it) and reply.

The family went to investigate Crystal's whereabouts that day (Friday) she went missing. They went to townhouse and found her car. The family found the car and got in it.

LE was notified the next day of a missing person.

She was reported missing on Saturday the 26th. We don't know what day her family first went to the townhouse nor do we know how many times they might have entered it prior to LE searching it. We do know the car was found days after she was reported missing.

She replied to the text the night before and said she would see her (child) in the morning.

It was mentioned on an interview with the Sheriff regarding the car and her family searching for her on Friday.

The family found the vehicle and searched it also. Her Uncle said this in an interview as well.

The videos and interviews. I do not have a link but last night on Banfield's show, they discussed it again. You can find them on this thread because someone posted the four previous Banfieid shows. And then on Wednesday (9/6) Thursday (9/7) nights, the Sheriff was again on discussing it.

The link and backup info is from the Banfield shows and numerous articles.

I too would like too see a link to where it was mentioned that she replied to the ex. From all I have read, I have not seen that.

Also, is there any information out there about how the family found her car? It seems unlikely they would just happen upon it, especially before the police did.

Did they receive a tip or something?

We have two different video systems at our house and they are from two different companies -- I cannot remember exactly but one of the cameras, we could move to anywhere in the house but it plus into a power socket and does not have a battery.

It is called NFC which stands for near field communications, when two devices are in close proximity, however not to be confused with Bluetooth, although similar, completely different

Apple mainly uses NFC for Apple pay, not sure what all else can be done with NFC on Apple but headphones can be tappped, photos can be shared and so on with other devices. For the record, I have never tried NFC for headphones, I always use Bluetooth, perhaps I may have to give it a try.

Do you have a copy of the text message exchange between the ex husband and Crystal?

The conversation with BB from Alabama where the conversation was about whether or not to tell her ex-husband he wasn't going on the cruise. That is deception. In her texts with her ex she mentioned going to Dallas and "maybe I'll keep the kids with me" (read how it is worded, it suggests she had already had plans to go to Dallas without the kids) Yet when the ex-husband showed the texts to her Uncle he said he didn't know about her going to Dallas. The BF claims he didn't know about Dallas either. That suggests deception.
