hmmm, what if something happened to the baby at the old apartment, and dad took the body somewhere over towards the new apartment, leaving mom there to call the police and give them "the story". Mom does love the baby and does want her body found, hence the clue giving.....like someone else stated...maybe an accident gone wrong, and dad took the body to cover it up.

I watched the video of mom again.

Wonder what she meant by these words about the perp:

"He had a motive (the perp), he did what he had to do." He got my little girl."

That's the quote that jumped out at me also.

The way I heard it and read it, it sounds like she could know who "he" is. "He did what he had to do"- how does she KNOW that's what he HAD to do? How on earth could she know the motive when she claims he tried to pull her pants down and punch her in the face- that seems unlikely for a rapist to steal babies?

It's hinky to say the least.

THis news report is from the 10th and says that Daisja was last seen at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday...that part at least meshes with mom's story.

I haven't read the entire thread, so forgive me. But if someone attempted to rape you and then stole your child...would you wait 12 hours before calling 911?

Dallas police on Wednesday issued an Amber Alert for Daisja Weaver after her pregnant mother reported that the infant was kidnapped from the family home about 12 hours earlier.

Statements don't match what other witnesses say. Mother punched in the face, but nothing (dna, bruise) shown on the face, per LE.

I kinda know how this one is going to end, but I'm going to keep the mouth shut until I hear more.

I think they issued the Amber Alert 12 hours later.....not that the mom reported the crime 12 hours later.

I live here in the metroplex. I pray they find this baby alive & well....but I have my doubts. Its been an odd story from day 1.

I still get a feeling the mom is not telling the truth. IF she is not, I am leaning on accident. Perhaps an accident that the parents thought THEY would be blamed for.
The baby has definite medical issues, she is small-she is fragile and any neglect though unintentional could harm her. She is not going to be as resilient as a healthy 9 month old.

I think the police think that they are hiding something too.....if this is a true abduction, I would feel horrible but my gut tells me that the parents are being dishonest like most of you here feel.

Baby's surname is WEAVER so maybe that's the mother's maiden name???

Can anyone help us find this mother's DATE of BIRTH?

Do we have the father's name? Any info on him?

I do hope that LE is following any leads that will either clear the family of wrong-doing, or find the alleged unknown kidnapper.

That's what I said earlier bogeygal. Makes me think LE knows more than they are saying and that have pretty strong suspicions poor little Daisja is no longer alive. Because I can't fathom how someone would not be repeating over and over that the baby has health issues and needs medical attention if they believed she was out there being held captive.

Not only the LE, but IIRC, mom was on the news and don't think we heard anything about Daisja's health concerns. Red flag to me....I would be making sure how important that aspect is of this alleged kidnapping!

IMO, because there probably was never a kidnapper. LE doesn't believe the story being told and is investigating all areas associated with the parents.

That's not an independent sighting. She was last seen by mom at 11:30. If you believe her story that is.

I've checked Dallas County online records for Mom's dob. Came up empty-handed. She has Leo as her sign on myspace page. Washington as hometown. Have not looked online there. I have to go out for a couple of hours.... Can someone else look?

If Daisja Weaver is the victim of foul play, the same reward being offered by Schepps Dairy will be paid for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible, police said. The reward will remain in effect for six months.
