I do wonder if this will be the girlfriend that he admitted to killing.

NM - NM - Tanya Teresa Begay, 36, Tohatchi, Mar 2017

I think we are able to quote the charley project. He is named here as her boyfriend at the time. I do not know if it is the same Jason Thornburg but many signs fit.
Tanya Teresa Begay – The Charley Project

New Mexico instead of Arizona, and slight difference in spelling of the name so maybe not, but I think you're onto something there.

Yea, I think Charley Project might have spelled it wrong. First line of her thread here says, "The last time Tanya Begayspoke to her mother she had called early one morning in March 2017, saying she planned to travel from the tiny Arizona town of Leupp back to her family's home near Gallup, New Mexico — a drive that should've taken just a few hours, from one part of the vast Navajo Nation to another."

Jason Thornburg told Fort Worth detectives he had sacrificed the body of his girlfriend in Arizona and identified her, according to the warrant released by Fort Worth police on Tuesday. Her name was redacted in the warrant, but relatives identified her to the Star-Telegram as Tanya Begay of Gallup, New Mexico.

But Tsosie said Thornburg began abusing Begay shortly after they started dating, hitting her and one time throwing a glass container at Begay and injuring her eye.

“We told her to get away from him,” Tsosie said. “But she kept going back to him.”

In March 2017, Begay and Thornburg drove to her father’s home in Tohatchi, New Mexico, to ask for some money. They had hitched a ride to Tohatchi.

"“He actually spoke at the guy’s funeral service [the man he murdered and then set his house on fire],” Black said. That is what’s giving me chills. I’m stunned. My whole view of humanity has changed. This is evil. Pure evil.”

In June, Thornburg attended a leadership conference taught by Black. On a worksheet he wrote that he wanted to be a missionary. His greatest strength, he wrote, was “a sense of purpose, a sense of destiny that must be achieved.”

(I know this was already posted but it needs to be posted again.

This man is frightening)

"S.S lived just above Thornburg at the Mid City Inn and said the two had bonded over scripture.

"We never suspected anything," manager KG said. “I talked to him many many times and there was no suggestion – he never fought with me about anything.”

Because of the alleged connection between Thornburg and the crime out of state, authorities are now looking to determine if he could be tied to any other unsolved cases anywhere else - including across the country and internationally.

Bodies found in Fort Worth dumpster: Jason Thornburg arrested | kens5.com

--- The known homicides and damage he's done are bad enough, but it wouldn't surprise me AT ALL if he's left a trail of victims.

He seems to blend in well, outwardly at least, with people he comes across, able to connect with religion. Juxtaposed with the methodical, heinous way he kills.. This man is what nightmares are made of.

This guy is as scary and crazy as they come.

I'd like to know if there are really more as a percent of the population, or if it's just that we hear about them more because of the internet and instant communication.

I commented this in Tanya’s thread but I’ll repeat here. How sad and horrifying to know that this guy was on the radar when she disappeared yet continued to murder 4 more people without an arrest. He was even on the radar in May. What kept them from getting probable cause? Do they need more manpower, funding, tools, or evidence? I really hope this is looked at because this is a travesty.

"I know that he was scared and I know he knew somebody was after him to get him," Lueras’ cousin, [A.T], said.

Torres said he hadn’t heard from Lueras in years, but added that the 42-year-old recently re-connected with some of their family members in an attempt to hide out of state.

"He wouldn’t tell us their names," Torres said.

He said his cousin came back to North Texas, where he had lived off-and-on for 25 years.

"Whoever did this definitely wanted to make an example out of him," Torres said.

Cousin of man found dead in Fort Worth burning dumpster said he was scared, trying to hide
I know this was a random killing by a deranged sick individual but I wonder who Lueras was afraid of and trying to hide from?

he seemed to have a history of meth abuse, and a side effect of usage is paranoia so could be that. or he could have owed people money.

A 41-year-old man accused of dismembering and burning three bodies in a Fort Worth dumpster last year has been indicted on charges of murder and arson in a separate slaying.

A Tarrant County grand jury handed up the indictment Friday against Jason Alan Thornburg in the killing of his roommate, 61-year-old Mark Jewell, whose body was found by firefighters after a gas explosion at their Fort Worth home in May.
