I hope that the mom is not allowed to see the child. Praying for the boys and the family members who loved him.

I’m sick.

“A search of Berg and Alexander’s cellphones show numerous messages between her and Alexander discussing Dawson’s injuries over a month prior to October 14.
……
Another message sent September 18 reads: “100000% serious. You bruise him, hurt him, and cause damage every single time you are alone with him. There hasn’t been a single time you’ve been alone with him where he hasn’t been hurt.”

In the messages, Berg also tells Alexander that she overlooked bruising on the child’s genitals “knowing it could have happened at school” and that the child had been staying home to recover from injuries.“

WTH?!!!

This reminds me of the monsters in the Kahleb Collins case. Simply not human, throw the key in the ocean.

Sad. The mom was acknowledging that he was getting hurt worse & worse every time she left them alone together (imo she seemed upset about it), instead of texting him about it she should have taken little guy & left, got a restraining order, called police, LITERALLY ANYTHING to get that creep away from her baby. Unfortunately she waited too long & it cost the poor little guy his life. That "man" is a piece of work, who the heck does he think he is to be beating up a little child!? Hope he gets what he deserves in prison! This makes me so mad!

Yes! She should've called 911 the first time he was hurt and took him to the hospital/doctor for assessment. She should've had the monster charged. She failed her child and needs to be held responsible for covering for her boyfriend!

she needs to be prosecuted just as aggressively as her no good boyfriend. She knew, even about previous injuries to his little genitals. WTH is WRONG with these mothers.

The mom in this case should have immediately gotten her child out of that situation, she could have, for all I know, been a great mom to the little boy, but she failed him dramatically by not getting him out of the situation the microsecond she even thought something was going on. This "man" (if you can even call him that) I feel was extremely jealous of her child & her attention being on the child when he was around (imo jmo moo) hence why he would abuse him anytime he had the chance to be alone with him. If she could acknowledge that he was harming the boy she should have put a stop to it before he died. So I feel like she does deserve to get at least some charges. She knew he was being beat & did not report it, instead she told him to stop & leave her alone, if she reported him that could have saved the little boys life. It's ignorance at its finest. I can't help but feel a smidge bad for her because in the end she lost her baby, she still has to pay the price for her negligence & ignorance though.

The creep was just the jealous boyfriend. He's a disgusting human. Bio dad should have had custody of the little boy imo

but the mother failed to protect her child from a monster that she chose to keep in their lives even after he showed her who he was - she should've never had children if she can't do the basic job of protecting them

AGREE, mothers of this variety should never have had children if their priorities are so screwed up they will risk their children's lives because they are loath to end it with a boyfriend, even after they've seen evidence those boyfriends are abusing their kids. I hate that we keep seeing these cases over and over. Just don't have kids or give them up to parents who want to put their needs first if you can't. 🤷‍♀️

and i'm guessing she left her husband -- and the boy's father -- for this guy

Going by pictures on egg donor's FB, it looks like there is another child, a girl a bit older than Dawson. There are a ton of pictures of her with the girl, and not nearly as many with Dawson- he looks scared or upset in those that she does have. Kind of telling imo.

i have just come to hate the phrase "the mother's boyfriend"
right up there with 'homeschooled" these days.

As a homeschool parent within a blended family, I don't disagree with you.

There is a major risk bringing a man into a home with children that aren't biologically his. And homeschooling lacks sufficient oversight in most states (including mine).

Unfortunately Dawson was much too young for school. He was left in the care of a worthless baby beater that his mom couldn't have been with for very long.

Oh I agree, it really peeves me off. That's what I was saying in my posts above. She completely failed her child over this creep. She knew he was hurting little guy & texted the bf complaining about the injuries yet she continues leaving the poor baby with him, not calling police, not doing anything except text him about it & because of her ignorance it cost her childs life. That's why I said little guy should have been with his bio dad instead of her & that creep bf.
