Because, like paederasts, they seek out a profession where they can have access to victims. So, we get people becoming daycare workers, teachers, nurses, hospice aides, disability support workers, etc. so that they can make themselves feel powerful by harming vulnerable people in their care.

It isn't just poverty or lack of education limiting options, or they'd be bagging groceries, delivering pizza, or packing parcels for Amazon.
