As far as Skip not being interviewed yet, HA! Well...I'll reserve my judgement (bite my tongue till it bleeds, again). Not sure what the hold up is on that one though.

As far as I remember though, and I might be wrong about this-Skip's father was not around (if you guys are thinking the above mentioned man was his Dad). It always seemed like Skip had all the freedom he wanted, so I'm not sure why he would run away.

Thanks MissieMt ... so Skipper has not been interviewed yet .. I detected the trail of blood from you biting your tongue from thousands of miles away.... ouch ... ouch .. ouch. I am not convinced that Skipper ran away but rather maybe just left and maybe Deanna was with him or perhaps they hooked up again when they were 18/19 years old.
I am almost beginning to think that the sighting in 1995 which is in LE records may possibly be drug related.
Of course Missie, my thinking has been all over the map literally in trying to determine where in the heck Deanna has been and is now. I share your frustration but we shall trudge on.
Please do let us know if you get an answer on the "request for Deanna's school records".

Elepher, you are great, your ideas are refreshing. I think Missie said the 1995 sighting was not criminal, so probably not drug related. Any LE or former LE that could help us figure out why LE from 1995 would have contact files for Deanna, but not criminal charges? I am thinking domestic violence victim, or similar victim; traffic (but I think LE told Missie not traffic); jaywalking, etc. Very frustrating that a man central to this investigation has not been interviewed yet and he is in the same darn state!! Maybe now that he is being released someone will be able to interview him. I think Skippers latest sentence was because of assault charges. Any chance. Missie. that he would have had access to Myspace in jail? Send him a message welcoming him home, LOL!

Oh yes, for sure Woof - somebody needs to find out what Mr. Skipper knows from around that time. If I was close, I would take him to a bar and get his lips loose. There is a list of people who should be interviewed - we should make a list so we can keep track.

I stayed up far too late reading (Im new to this-sorry).
What is "niggling" at me is the tattoo issue & and the 1995 siting .Im very confused.
Are we 100% sure she was seen in 1995? This siting is per LE .Its unfortunate I know Missie cant divulge details of HOW she came into non-criminal LE contact.
I do find it interesting that apparently after this contact she was taken off the missing list.Is that just a coincidence? At anytime WHERE in Texas in 1995 she was seen be released?Id think that would help the case & Im confused as to why LE wont release it.

As for the tattoos.......
The Doe page makes it sound like she had the tattoos at the time she went missing(which was troubling).I wish that could be updated to say "there was a confirmed siting in 1995 in Texas.Its unconfirmed that Deanna MAY have had the possible,following tattoos". I think thatd end some confusion which may help.
Can it still not be said WHO claims she has the tattoos & why they say this?


FWIW I believe she was seen in 1995 & I really want to believe she is still alive.
Theres something about the tattoos that rings true to me & Id love to know where LE got that info from!

Amy, Bekki, BioDad and Grandma have all also spoken to Sgt.D. Also our cousin Glen was interviewed. Those are people I know for sure. Well, there's also the person who gave the tattoo info, but I still prefer not to name that person. They thrive on attention and I refuse to feed them that.

Gotcha Missie - go for it if you like. Another question: Was Grandpa ever interviewed before he passed?
Is there anybody else that you feel should have been interviewed that wasn't?

Grandpa also was not interviewed. When Deanna was first reported missing nothing was done-as far as I know. No interviews, nothing. Then the case was closed for some God awful reason. So since we had the case reopened the interviews are being conducted, etc.
I'm not sure who else I think should be interviewed, give me a bit to think on that one.

Ok--I went through this list and the only one that popped out at me was the first name: Deanna C Johnson

She married a Ronald K Hicks on Aug 23, 1994 in Floyd County, KY Her birth year is 1977 on the marriage license, but not the exact date.

Hi JS, I have been trying to do some more research on D.C. Johnson that you noted and am coming up with nothing yet. Do you know if this person is still in the state of Kentucky - or can you tell?

The weekend was great! Sorry I haven't been on. My son started school last week, and his bus comes to get him at 6:10 a.m.! I've always been a morning person but even I am having a hard time adjusting to waking up at 4:45, especially since I don't get off of work till about 10pm.
I haven't heard from Sgt.D. I tried calling the school but didn't get an answer. I think they might still be out for summer there.

If you ever want me to sleuth anything/anybody in particular (other than what we are doing) - anybody you are curious about just give me the high sign and you will have my undivided attention. I wish there was some way to put finding Deanna on fast forward for you and your family. Just wish we could get a break in Deanna's case :blowkiss:
