The state and defense have rested in the punishment phase of the Otis McKane capital murder trial.

The jury on Friday will get the formal charge from Judge Ron Rangel, final arguments will be presented by both sides and then the jury will deliberate.

Jurors have only two options to choose from – death by lethal injection or life in prison without parole.

Court will resume at 9 a.m. Friday.
