A southeast Houston man died at the hospital today after he was shot inside a home that he was remodeling, authorities said.
Police were called at 11:30 a.m. after the victim, identified as Diego Vela Jr., 39, was seen staggering across the front lawn of a home across the street in the 3900 block of Hickock.
