Why do you say he turned his life around so quickly? Relevant facts and timeframes, please.
Afaik, he moved and he remarried and ..... Idk, what he is telling himself in this video perhaps.

I’m no psychologist but he seems very clean in this interview. The most recent thing that I thought made him look bad was in an unapproved source and I have no idea if it was an accurate representation of him. Over the years, the way he behaved that day has become less of a concern to me. I hope he is innocent of any involvement.I'm not in a position to watch a video right now, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. But it's not like he ran out and got married a month later. He's young and deserves to live his life. He didn't even know his 2nd wife at the time that Liz died. Everyone's grief is different and a lot of times, especially with men, people are not good at being alone. And staying in a home where my spouse was fatally shot? No way in hell would I ever be able to feel safe or happy there again.
I don't think I'd be able to live in the house where my spouse was murdered, so I can't judge him for that.Couldn't SB stay in his "good neighborhood"? Why did he turn his life around so quickly after the murder, as if he'd only been waiting to be free? Did the murderer do him a favor? Does SB have to be grateful for his fate for a long time to come?
Seriously! Especially with no kids to worry about, I would never go back to the house where my DH was gunned down in the driveway.I don't think I'd be able to live in the house where my spouse was murdered, so I can't judge him for that.

I think what might be being said here is the difference in Sergio’s appearance after getting remarried.I'm not in a position to watch a video right now, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. And none of the buildings in the background had security cameras facing their parking lot that would have picked up the truck in the background?Crime Junkie did a podcast on Liz's cowardly horrific murder (February 2025)
It had some new information I have not heard before (or might have forgotten - 6 years is way 2 long!!).
There were a few things I thought might be a little off, hopefully you'll watch and give your opinions. If not, I'll post what I found new.
The link below has some extra pictures on the webpage and the audio version of the podcast.
I pasted the picture of the green-belt area of the possible escape route (provided by Liz's parents to CJ).
I also included the YouTube version if you prefer watching. They use some visuals.

MURDERED: Elizabeth Barraza | Crime Junkie Podcast
Elizabeth Barraza was 29 when she was gunned down in her driveway in Tomball, Texas, while setting up for a garage sale. The murder was so calculated and shocking, police were certain they'd catch her killer within hours. But years later, the case is still unsolved. And her family’s hoping that...crimejunkiepodcast.com

**Justice 4 Liz** hurry up with those subpoenas.
That name has some really interesting connections to Liz behind it.There are two probabilities, imo. The first, and most likely, is a hired hit. Hired by someone close to her. This is my primary suspicion, due to the time, place, etc., of murder. The garage sale threw things off a bit, in that Sergio left at a slightly different time than normal. It seems highly likely to me that someone knew that Liz would be out there by herself just before daylight.
The other option is the Star Wars angle. People get very wrapped up in this game, and Liz was in a position to decide admissions to the 501 or whatever it was. Or whatever. I can’t remember the exact details now, but she was in some way a decision maker, I believe. She triggered someone in relation to this, and they wanted revenge.
I’d love to know more about the prior incident. If I recall, it happened at work.
And: My understanding is that Sergio, early on, named a name. And I think I’ve recently learned who that name belongs to. Interesting. Remember, these things are usually done by people related, somehow, to the victim.
My bets are on one of these two scenarios, although the first is my number o possibility.
I like what you had to say.I really wonder about that stop, too. I also wonder why nothing has come of this case. Really, I wonder.
We have video, we have a truck model. I know folks have made this connection before, but there really are some similarities with Missy Beaver's case. Of the two Texas women, both killers were caught on video. Both look to be in disguises. Both have vehicles caught on camera, with make and model identified. Both appeared to be quite brazen, with the killer in Missy's case walking around for ages in front of cameras in the building before the murder, and in the Tomball case, the killer walking up to her in broad daylight.
Timing is also interesting, in that the murders take place immediately before or after an event: In Missy's case, right before the start of a class (but after the killer had been in the area for some time) in Liz's case, immediately after her husband leaves the house (and also after the killer had been in the area for some time.)
I don't know. Again, why no movement on either case???
This is my best recollection, but I recall seeing a police report on a true crime website where Sergio was asked in the back of a police car parked at the scene of the murder, "Do you know anyone who might want to harm Liz?" and he responded with the name of a female member of the Star Wars group, who was involved in a dispute with Liz of some sort. I wasn't allowed to post the police report, because of law enforcement practices for active homicide investigations, but I saw it that's what I recall! JMO.There are two probabilities, imo.
