I'm glad to see the SAR team involved but no mention of other investigative agencies (TXDPS, FBI, etc.) is concerning. Did I miss it? Ennis PD only? It has been 10 days...

Has this case gotten traction in national MSM?
I’m in the Indy area, there has been nothing in the news here. Heck, I’m on WS pretty much every day and just saw this an hour ago. <imagine a facepalm emoji>

(Thanks @cybervampira for pointing me here) :D

I haven’t seen any news of other LE agencies involved either.

Just noticed this quote from this article and wonder if they’re referring to Emily Wade:
2 bodies found in shallow graves in rural Oklahoma believed to be missing Texas man, woman

“We are aware of the developments in Texas regarding another missing person’s case, and have been in contact with local law enforcement in that jurisdiction," said Bloomington Police Chief Mike Hartley in a statement.

Whoa! How awful if she did somehow come across CM. If you haven’t read about him, check him out. He was an MMA fighter and during custody dispute his ex gf went missing. She alleged abuse, but because she had drug issues, courts seemed to buy CMa denials. Then he got with missing girl and when they broke up he started harassing, threatening and more to her and her family. She alleged he would repeatedly choke her until she was unconscious. Restraining order was denied. Terrifying man who seemed to get away with a lot! MOO

There have been a few cases nearby that area where cars have driven off the roads and straight into the lake which makes me wonder if the SAR teams are checking area lakes. Her family and friends must be in knots.

They have been I believe, but someone local said that they have searched so much areas at this point they feel more likely foul play than accident. :(

Speaking of ponds and maybe she went into the water locally we had a case of a person driving into a body of water not far from where they were last seen at a friends house.
That car sat in that small retaining pond forever..well maybe 8 months. I forget how they found it with the body inside.
My point is it does happen and it can be overlooked for one reason or another.
I sure hope they find her soon.

I have a feeling she got turned around , shes only been here 3 weeks , it would be super easy to get turned around at night and drive into water in another side of town

Do we know if LE or the SAR team have used boats and/or sonar imaging? (Sorry, haven't had a chance to read about the SAR team yet.)

IMO, there’s no way the male co-worker has been cleared. From what I’ve gathered on the family FB group, she was told a group of friends were meeting for dinner, but it ended up only being the one co-worker. I suspect the poor reporting in MSM has led to confusion. I think the male friend, co-worker, and witness who saw her leaving are all the same person.

I wonder if he’s returned to work? I’d be willing to bet a polygraph is in his near future.

This sets my hunky meter off a bit. Co-worker invites her over, (she may be a little reluctant) and tells her other people will be there. Was this said so she’d feel more comfortable about going to his house? Did he want to get her alone? How was he so quickly cleared?

Do we know if she has any type of medical condition that could lend itself to confusion, etc? Low blood sugar, certain mental illnesses, mini stroke...lots of different conditions. I was severely dehydrated one time and passed out on my face at my dr office. I had to get IV fluids. Had I been driving or anything, that would’ve been awful. My mental state was effected by it, too, as well as wacky heartbeats. I’m just throwing stuff out there. Even when I drove, I’d sometimes get lost in thinking about something and drive a good distance past my destination before realizing I did it. Could she have had something like that and ended up in a bad area? These are all JMO, of course.

I believe she has lived in Ennis previously, so I am not sure if it would be as unfamiliar as just being there 3 weeks and never before. IIRC she has moved back and forth between there and Kentucky. Her ex is from Ennis and they seem to cycle back there regularly. MOO
