GUILTY TX - Emma Thompson, 4, dies with STD, skull fracture, Spring, 27 June 2009

If he does, I hope he runs right in front of a moving semi truck or a loaded rifle. :furious:

You read my mind. I was thinking that if he runs, i hope they shoot him down like the rabid dog he is, but i would have more sympathy for the dog. He has run from LE before. So, whether it's an organized effort or an impulse, he will not be safe in these here woods, lol. KWIM

I hope there are lots of Texans ready to chase him down if he dares to run. Texans with loaded rifles, I meant.

Coe transferred to Montgomery County jail, that's too cushy and protected. Why move him so early when his trial is not until 2/2/10 !

This perverted child rapist and killer should of had to stay in Harris County jail until closer to trial date. We still haven't heard who the new judge assigned to his case will be in Harris County.

Rest In Peace Emma

A Montgomery County grand jury has added another felony indictment against a man accused in the beating death of a 4-year-old girl.

Lucas Coe, 28, now faces a charge of serious bodily injury to a child, stemming from a 2007 incident in which he is accused of hitting a boy on his head. He was re-indicted last week by a grand jury.

The re-indictment was sought “based on the re-evaluation and realization that there were additional counts we could add,” Chief Assistant District Attorney Phil Grant told The Conroe Courier newspaper. “We wanted to file on him on every charge we possibly could.”

Coe has also been charged with injury to a child, a first-degree felony, in the death of 4-year-old Emma Thompson last June in Harris County

Authorities said Thompson had a fractured skull, bruising over her body, signs of sexual abuse and genital herpes.

Thompson is the daughter of Abigail Young, who has also been charged with bodily injury to a child.

It seems like a little more detail from the autopsy as well, although I might have missed it before.

I would like to be reading more about Mom and how her life is moving along given that she was charged equally to Coe. How would you all like to find out she was you L&D nurse???

Grand jury re-indicts Coe; adds charge

Lucas Ruric Coe, 28, was re-indicted Tuesday by a Montgomery County grand jury. He was initially indicted on the charge stemming from a 2007 incident when he allegedly struck a boy on the head. Grand jurors added another count to his indictment of serious bodily injury to a child, a first-degree felony.

The re-indictment was sought “based on the re-evaluation and realization that there were additional counts we could add,” Chief Assistant District Attorney Phil Grant said. “We wanted to file on him on every charge we possibly could.”

Woodlands attorney Bert Steinmann, who is representing Coe in both his Montgomery County and Harris County cases, said he has not yet seen the re-indictment.

“We’ll vigorously defend our client,” he said Friday. “We believe the evidence will show he is innocent.”

Coe is charged in Harris County with first-degree felony injury to a child in the death of Emma Thompson, 4, who died June 27 at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital after her mother, Abigail Young, called 9-1-1 because her daughter vomited before losing consciousness.

Montgomery County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Edie Connelly ruled in August that Thompson’s death was a homicide. The girl’s autopsy showed, Connelly previously said, that Thompson died from blunt abdominal trauma. There were bruises to her body and stomach.

Young also has been charged with first-degree felony injury to a child.

According to the probable cause report, the autopsy stated Emma had 80 contusions, severe head lacerations, hemorrhaging of the scalp, skull fracture, internal bleeding and had a severe tear and hemorrhaging to the vagina…” It also stated her hymen was not intact.

COE INDICTED AGAIN

(JANUARY 20TH, 2010)

Lucas Coe, who is facing injury to a child charges in the death of Emma Thompson, has now been indicted on a another similar charge.

The Montgomery County grand jury indicted the 28-year old Coe for an incident in 2007 in which he alleged hit a boy on his head.

This is a reindictment that according to prosecutor was based on a re-evaluation and realization that there were additional counts’ that they could add.

Coe is now facing first degree felony charges in the death of four-year old Emma Thompson who died last summer. Thompson was the daughter of Abigail Young, who has also been charged with bodily injury to a child.

Man charged in beating death of 4-year-old returns to Conroe

A Magnolia man charged last year in the brutal beating death of his girlfriend’s preschool age daughter in Harris County is now in the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe where he faces charges of injuring another child.

On Tuesday, a Montgomery County Grand Jury reindicted 28-year-old Lucas Ruric Coe, of Magnolia on a Jan. 13, 2005 charge of first-degree felony Serious Bodily Injury to a Child, which is now paired with his indictment Sept. 27, 2007 for third-degree felony Bodily Injury to a Child. The victim in the Montgomery County case is a 7-year-old boy.

Assistant District Attorney Sylvia Yarbrough will prosecute Coe on the two charges and said she sought the reindictment so she could try Coe on both counts at once. The case will be heard in the 221st District Court of Judge Suzanne Stovall.

Coe made headlines last Aug. 10 when he and girlfriend, 33-year-old Abigail Elizabeth Young, were arrested for first-degree felony Serious Bodily Injury to a Child in the June 27 death of 4-year-old Emma Thompson.

Coe was not Thompson’s father, but shared a residence in Spring with Emma and her mother, Young, a registered nurse who worked in labor and delivery.

Records show a motion to revoke probation based on non-compliance was filed on March 21, 2007. The motion was withdrawn Sept. 21, 2007.

* Sept. 27, 2007: charged in Montgomery County with Bodily Injury to a Child (third-degree felony) – awaiting trial.

* Feb. 28, 2008: arraigned on the Sept. 27, 2007 charge.

On June 27, 2009, Emma Thompson died from a brutal beating with evidence of sexual assault and previous physical abuse according to the autopsy.

* Aug. 10, 2009: first-degree felony Serious Bodily Injury to a Child (Emma Thompson)

* Jan. 12, 2010: reindicted in Montgomery County for Serious Bodily Injury to a Child.

After a hearing on the Emma Thompson case reduced Coe’s bond to $100,000, he was released from the Harris County Jail. He was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on January 6, booked on a bench warrant, a warrant for injury to a child, and a warrant for failure to appear from the court of Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Edie Connelly.

As of this writing, no bond amounts have been posted on the jail roster.

No Bond amounts appear....thank you GOD. Waiting patiently for Emma's mother to surface. I am surprised some enterprising reporter is not dogging her steps.

I'm surprised also. I hope everyday her conscience is dogging her. :furious:

I would just like to be reassured that she is still in the country and will be held accountable for this monstrous act.
